Claims
- 1. A polystyrene-based resin composition comprising (A) a styrene-based resin with a mainly syndiotactic configuration selected from group consisting of polystyrene; poly(alkylstyrene); poly(halogenated styrene); poly(alkoxystyrene); styrene copolymers comprised of polymerized units of at least two of styrene, alkylstyrene, halogenated styrene and alkoxystyrene; and mixtures of thereof, (B) a polyolefin, and (C) rubber polymer particles having a volume average particle diameter of 0.1 to 4 .mu.m, wherein said rubber polymer is selected from the group consisting of SBS, SIS, SEBS, SEPS, SEP, SEB, SB and SI, as main components, wherein said component (A) is present in an amount of 10 to 90% by weight, based on the total amount of A, B and C, the total amount of the components (B) and (C) is 90% to 10% by weight, and the amount of the component (C) is at least 1% by weight.
- 2. The composition of claim 1, further comprising an inorganic filler (D).
- 3. The composition of claim 1, wherein said polyolefin (B) is polyethylene.
- 4. The composition of claim 1, wherein said polyolefin (B) is polypropylene.
- 5. The composition of claim 1, wherein said polyolefin (B) is polybutene-1.
- 6. The composition of claim 1, wherein said polyolefin (B) is poly-4-methylpentene-1.
- 7. The composition of claim 1, wherein said polyolefin (B) is ethylene-propylene copolymer.
- 8. The composition of claim 2, wherein said inorganic filler (D) is a carbon fiber, alumina fiber, or glass fiber.
- 9. The composition of claim 2, wherein said inorganic filler (D) is a granular or powdered filler selected from the group consisting of talc, carbon black, graphite, titanium dioxide, silica, mica, calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulfate, barium sulfate, oxysulfate, tin oxide, alumina, kaolin, silicon carbide, and metal powder.
- 10. The composition of claim 1, further comprising an antioxidant.
- 11. The composition of claim 2, wherein said polyolefin (B) is polyethylene.
- 12. The composition of claim 2, wherein said polyolefin (B) is polypropylene.
- 13. The composition of claim 2, wherein said polyolefin (B) is polybutene-1.
- 14. The composition of claim 2, wherein said polyolefin (B) is poly-4-methylpentene-1.
- 15. The composition of claim 2, wherein said polyolefin (B) is ethylene-propylene copolymer.
- 16. The composition of claim 2, further comprising an antioxidant.
- 17. A polystyrene-based resin composition comprising (A) a styrene-based resin with a mainly syndiotactic configuration selected from the group consisting of polystyrene; poly(alkylstyrene); poly(halogenated styrene); poly(alkoxystyrene); styrene copolymers comprised of polymerized units of at least two of styrene, alkylstyrene, halogenated styrene and alkoxystyrene; and mixtures thereof, (B) a polyolefin, and (C) rubber polymer particles wherein said rubber is selected from the group consisting of SBS, SIS, SEBS, SEPS, SB, SI SEB and SEP, as main components, wherein said component (A) is present in an amount of 10 to 90% by weight, based on the total amount of A, B and C, the total amount of the components (B) and (C) is 90% to 10% by weight, and the amount of the component (C) is at least 1% by weight.
- 18. The composition of claim 17, wherein said rubber polymer (C) is SEBS.
- 19. The composition of claim 17, wherein said rubber polymer (C) is SBS.
- 20. The composition of claim 17, further comprising an inorganic filler (D).
- 21. The composition of claim 1, further comprising 10-60% by weight of an inorganic filler (D).
- 22. The composition of claim 17, further comprising 10-60% by weight of an inorganic filler (D).
- 23. The composition of claim 21, wherein said inorganic filler is an inorganic filler having electroconductivity.
- 24. The composition of claim 22, wherein said inorganic filler is an inorganic filler having electroconductity.
- 25. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEBS.
- 26. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEPS.
- 27. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEP.
- 28. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEB.
- 29. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SBS.
- 30. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SIS.
- 31. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SB.
- 32. The composition of claim 1, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SI.
- 33. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEBS.
- 34. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEPS.
- 35. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEP.
- 36. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SEB.
- 37. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or L,LDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SBS.
- 38. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SIS.
- 39. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SB.
- 40. The composition of claim 17, wherein the polyolefin is polypropylene or LLDPE, and the rubber polymer (C) is SI.
