Claims
- 1. An engineered zinc finger protein that binds to a target site in a plant gamma-tocopherol methyl transferase (GMT) gene.
- 2. The zinc finger protein of claim 1, wherein said protein modulates expression of GMT.
- 3. A fusion polypeptide comprising a zinc finger protein according to claim 1 and at least one functional domain.
- 4. The fusion polypeptide of claim 3, wherein the functional domain is an activation domain.
- 5. An isolated polynucleotide encoding the zinc finger protein of claim 1.
- 6. An expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide of claim 5.
- 7. The expression vector of claim 6, comprising a plant promoter.
- 8. The expression vector of claim 7, wherein the promoter is tissue specific.
