Claims
- 1. A method of increasing renal blood flow of warm-blooded mammals which comprises administering to said mammals at least an effective amount of a renal vasodilator compound comprising a .gamma.-glutamyl amide of dopamine selected from the group consisting of ##EQU3## and a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein said salt is a hydrochloride salt.
- 3. A pharmaceutical composition in unit dosage form effective in increasing renal blood flow which comprises an active portion comprising a .gamma.-glutamyl amide of dopamine selected from the group consisting of ##EQU4## and a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof; and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
- 4. The composition of claim 3 wherein said amide is a hydrochloride salt.
