Claims
- 1. A composition comprising:
(a) at least one compound comprising at least one ester group; (b) at least one silicone; and (c) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones; with the proviso that said composition comprises no volatile solvents.
- 2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer structures the liquid fatty phase of said composition.
- 3. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition is stable after 2 months at 25° C. as viewed by the naked eye.
- 4. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition is stable after 4 weeks at 37° C. as viewed by the naked eye.
- 5. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is incompatible with said at least one silicone.
- 6. The composition according to claim 1, wherein at least one silicone is chosen from water-soluble silicones, oil soluble silicones, and silicones which are soluble in organic solvents.
- 7. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one silicone is chosen from linear nonvolatile silicones, branched nonvolatile silicones, and cyclic nonvolatile silicones.
- 8. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one silicone is chosen from dimethicones, trimethicones, polyalkyl siloxanes, polyaryl siloxanes, polyalkylaryl siloxanes, polyether siloxane copolymers, alkylaryl-diaryl siloxane copolymers, dimethiconols, polydialkylsiloxane/alkylvinylsiloxane copolymers, (polydialkylsiloxane)(diphenyl)(methylvinylsiloxane) copolymers, and siloxysilicates.
- 9. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one silicone is phenyltrimethicone.
- 10. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one silicone is chosen from siloxysilicates.
- 11. The composition according to claim 10, wherein said at least one silicone is trimethylsiloxysilicate.
- 12. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one silicone is present in an amount ranging from 0.5% to 20% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 13. The composition according to claim 12, wherein said at least one silicone is present in an amount ranging from 1% to 10% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 14. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is chosen from esters and diesters.
- 15. The composition according to claim 14, wherein said diesters are chosen from diesters of formula (I):
- 16. The composition according to claim 15, wherein R2 is chosen from optionally substituted, divalent unsaturated hydrocarbon groups.
- 17. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is chosen from fatty acid diesters, diesters of alcohols, and PEG diesters.
- 18. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is chosen from diisostearyl malate, diglycerol diisoterate, and PEG disterates.
- 19. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is chosen from diisostearyl malate.
- 20. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is chosen from esters of formula (II):
- 21. The composition according to claim 20, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is chosen from butyl heptanoate, butyl laurate, butyl isononanoate, butyl myristate, butyl octanoate, butyl oleate, butyl palmitate, butyl stearate, cetyl heptanoate, cetyl laurate, cetyl isononanoate, cetyl myristate, cetyl octanoate, cetyl oleate, cetyl palmitate, cetyl stearate, isononyl heptanoate, isononyl laurate, isononyl isononanoate, isononyl myristate, isononyl octanoate, isononyl oleate, isononyl palmitate, isononyl stearate, hexyl heptanoate, hexyl laurate, hexyl isononanoate, hexyl myristate, hexyl octanoate, hexyl oleate, hexyl palmitate, hexyl stearate, isostearyl heptanoate, isostearyl isostearate, isostearyl neopentanoate, isostearyl isononanoate, lauryl heptanoate, lauryl isononanoate, lauryl myristate, lauryl octanoate, lauryl oleate, lauryl palmitate, lauryl stearate, stearyl heptanoate, stearyl laurate, stearyl isononanoate, stearyl myristate, stearyl octanoate, stearyl oleate, stearyl palmitate, and stearyl stearate.
- 22. The composition according to claim 20, further comprising at least one diester.
- 23. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is chosen from at least one wax.
- 24. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is present in said composition in an amount ranging from 1% to 80% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 25. The composition according to claim 24, wherein said at least one compound comprising at least one ester group is present in an amount ranging from 5% to 60% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 26. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from copolymers comprising at least one polar backbone and at least one non-polar chain and copolymers comprising at least one non-polar backbone and at least one polar chain.
- 27. The composition according to claim 26, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from copolymers comprising a polymer skeleton comprising at least one non-polar, silicone backbone substituted with at least one polar, non-silicone chain; copolymers comprising a polymer skeleton comprising at least one polar, non-silicone backbone substituted with at least one non-polar, silicone chain; copolymers comprising a polymer skeleton comprising at least one polar, silicone backbone substituted with at least one non-polar, non-silicone chain; and copolymers comprising a polymer skeleton comprising at least one non-polar, non-silicone backbone substituted with at least one polar, silicone chain.
- 28. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer further comprises at least one hydrocarbon group.
- 29. The composition according to claim 28, wherein said at least one hydrocarbon group is a terminal hydrocarbon group bonded to the polymer skeleton.
- 30. The composition according to claim 28, wherein said at least one hydrocarbon group is a pendant hydrocarbon group bonded to the polymer skeleton.
- 31. The composition according to claim 28, wherein said at least one hydrocarbon group is a terminal hydrocarbon group bonded to at least one chain on the polymer skeleton.
- 32. The composition according to claim 28, wherein said at least one hydrocarbon group is a pendant hydrocarbon group bonded to at least one chain on the polymer skeleton.
- 33. The composition according to claim 28, wherein said at least one hydrocarbon group is chosen from optionally substituted C5-C25 alkyl groups.
- 34. The composition according to claim 33, wherein said at least one hydrocarbon group is chosen from optionally substituted C1-8 alkyl groups and optionally substituted C22 alkyl groups.
- 35. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from silicone/(meth)acrylate copolymers.
- 36. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from non-polar silicone copolymers comprising repeating units of at least one polar (meth)acrylate unit and vinyl copolymers grafted with at least one non-polar silicone chain.
- 37. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from acrylates/stearyl acrylate/dimethicone acrylates copolymers and acrylates/behenyl acrylate/dimethicone acrylates copolymers.
- 38. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from silicone esters comprising units of formulae (III) and (IV):
- 39. The composition according to claim 38, wherein said RE groups are chosen from groups comprising at least one ester group formed from the reaction of at least one acid and at least one alcohol.
- 40. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from polymers comprising at least one unit derived from at least one A monomer, at least one unit derived from at least one C monomer, at least one unit derived from D monomers, and, optionally, at least one unit derived from at least one B monomer, wherein:
A, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from free-radically-polymerizable acrylic esters of at least one alcohol chosen from 1,1,-dihydroperfluoroalkanols, omega-hydridofluoroalkanols, fluoroalkylsulfonamido alcohols, cyclic fluoroalkyl alcohols, and fluoroether alcohols, and analogs of any of the foregoing at least one alcohols, and free-radically-polymerizable methacrylic esters of at least one alcohol chosen from 1,1,-dihydroperfluoroalkanols, omega-hydridofluoroalkanols, fluoroalkylsulfonamido alcohols, cyclic fluoroalkyl alcohols, and fluoroether alcohols, and analogs of any of the foregoing at least one alcohols; B, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from reinforcing monomers which are copolymerizable with at least one A monomer; C, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from monomers having the formula: X(Y)xSi(R)3−mZm wherein X is chosen from vinyl groups which are copolymerizable with at least one A monomer and at least one B monomer, Y is chosen from divalent allylene groups, divalent arylene groups, divalent alkarylene groups, and divalent aralkylene groups, wherein the groups comprise from 1 to 30 carbon atoms, and further wherein the groups optionally further comprise at least one group chosen from ester groups, amide groups, urethane groups, and urea groups; n is zero or 1; m is a number ranging from 1 to 3; R, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl groups, aryl groups, and alkoxy groups; and Z, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from monovalent siloxane polymeric groups; and D, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from free-radically-polymerizable acrylate copolymers and free-radically-polymerizable methacrylate copolymers.
- 41. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from polymers comprising at least one A monomer, at least one C monomer, and at least one D monomer, wherein
A, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from polymerizable acrylic esters of at least one fluoroalkylsulfonamido alcohol and polymerizable methacrylic esters of at least one fluoroalkylsulfonamido alcohol; D, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from methacrylic acid esters of at least one C1-C12 linear alcohol and methacrylic acid esters of at least one C1-C12 branched alcohol; and C, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from monomers having the formula: X(Y)nSi(R)3−mZm wherein
X is chosen from vinyl groups which are copolymerizable with at least one A monomer and at least one B monomer, Y is chosen from divalent allylene groups, divalent arylene groups, divalent alkarylene groups, and divalent aralkylene groups, wherein the groups comprise from 1 to 30 carbon atoms, and further wherein the groups optionally further comprise at least one group chosen from ester groups, amide groups, urethane groups, and urea groups; n is zero or 1; m is a number ranging from 1 to 3; R, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl groups, aryl groups, and alkoxy groups; and Z, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from monovalent siloxane polymeric groups.
- 42. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from liquid siloxy silicates and silicone esters.
- 43. The composition according to claim 40, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from diisostearoyl trimethylolpropane siloxysilicate and dilauroyl trimethylolpropane siloxy silicate.
- 44. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from polymers comprising a backbone chosen from vinyl polymers, methacrylic polymers, and acrylic polymers and at least one chain chosen from pendant siloxane groups and pendant fluorochemical groups.
- 45. The composition according to claim 44, wherein said at least one copolymer is poly(isobutyl methacrylate-co-methyl FOSEA)-g-poly(dimethylsiloxane).
- 46. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from silicone/acrylate graft terpolymers.
- 47. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from copolymers comprising at least one A monomer, at least one C monomer, and, optionally at least one B monomer, wherein the at least one A monomer is chosen from free-radically-polymerizable vinyl monomers, free-radically-polymerizable methacrylate monomers, and free-radically-polymerizable acrylate monomers; the at least one B monomer, if present, is chosen from at least one reinforcing monomer copolymerizable with the at least one A monomer, and the at least one C monomer is chosen from monomers having the formula:
- 48. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from vinyl-silicone graft copolymers and vinyl-silicone block copolymers.
- 49. The composition according to claim 48, wherein said at least one copolymer is chosen from vinyl-silicone graft copolymers having the following formula and vinyl-silicone block copolymers having the following formula:
- 50. The composition according to claim 49, wherein said at least one copolymer is poly(dimethylsiloxane)-g-poly(isobutyl methacrylate).
- 51. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one copolymer is present in said composition in an amount ranging from 0.2% to 30% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 52. The composition according to claim 51, wherein said at least one copolymer is present in an amount ranging from 1% to 10% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 53. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one wax.
- 54. The composition according to claim 53, wherein said at least one wax is chosen from waxes of natural origin, hydrogenated oils, jojoba esters, waxes of synthetic origin, waxes obtained by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, fatty acid esters, fatty acid glycerides, and silicone waxes different from said at least one silicone and said at least one copolymer.
- 55. The composition according to claim 53, wherein said at least one wax is chosen from beeswax, modified beeswax, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, jojoba wax, ouricury wax, Japan wax, cork fiber wax, sugar cane wax, paraffin waxes, lignite wax, microcrystalline waxes, lanolin wax, montan wax and ozokerites, hydrogenated jojoba oil, and polyethylene waxes derived from polymerization of ethylene.
- 56. The composition according to claim 53, wherein said at least one wax is present in an amount ranging from 0.1% to 50% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 57. The composition according to claim 56, wherein said at least one wax is present in an amount ranging from 5% to 25% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 58. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one coloring agent.
- 59. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said at least one coloring agent is chosen from encapsulated pigments dispersed in at least one solvent.
- 60. The composition according to claim 59, wherein said at least one solvent is phenyltrimethicone.
- 61. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one non-volatile solvents.
- 62. The composition according to claim 61, wherein said at least one non-volatile solvent is chosen from non-volatile silicones different from the at least one silicone and the at least one copolymer, non-volatile hydrocarbons, and non-volatile alcohols.
- 63. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition further comprises at least one additive chosen from fatty materials, coloring agents, fillers, humectants, texture modifiers, antifoaming agents, moisturizers, viscosity modifiers, antioxidants, essential oils, preserving agents, fragrances, neutralizing agents, liposoluble polymers, polysaccharides, fluorinated compounds, and cosmetically active agents and dermatological active agents.
- 64. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition is a cosmetic composition.
- 65. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition is in a form chosen from make-up products for the lips, make-up products for the skin, make-up products for the eyes, make-up and care products for superficial body growths, care and/or treatment products for the skin, care and/or treatment products for the lips, make-up removing products, transfer tattoos, and body hygiene products.
- 66. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition is in a form chosen from a paste, a solid, a viscous cream, a rigid gel, a flexible gel, or a soft gel.
- 67. An anhydrous composition comprising:
(a) at least one diester; (b) at least one non-volatile silicone, and (c) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of the at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones.
- 68. A composition comprising
(a) at least one silicone; (b) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones; and (c) at least one diester of formula (I): 15wherein R1 and R3, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from optionally substituted hydrocarbon groups; and R2 is chosen from optionally substituted, divalent, unsaturated hydrocarbon groups.
- 69. A composition comprising
(a) at least one silicone; (b) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones; (c) at least one diester; and (d) at least one ester of formula (II): 16wherein R4 and R5, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from unsubstituted hydrocarbon groups, wherein said hydrocarbon groups each comprise at least four carbon atoms.
- 70. A composition comprising:
(a) at least one silicone; (b) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones; and (c) at least two compounds chosen from diesters and esters of formula (II): 17wherein R4 and R5, which may be identical or different, are each chosen from unsubstituted hydrocarbon groups, wherein said hydrocarbon groups each comprise at least four carbon atoms; and wherein said at least two compounds are present in said composition in an amount greater than or equal to 3.5% by weight relative to the total weight of said composition.
- 71. A composition comprising at least one liquid fatty phase which comprises
(a) at least one compound comprising at least one ester group; (b) at least one silicone, wherein said at least one compound is incompatible with said at least one silicone; and (c) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones.
- 72. A structured composition comprising
at least one liquid fatty phase,
wherein said at least one liquid fatty phase is structured with at least one copolymer chosen from copolymers comprising a polymer skeleton comprising at least one non-polar, silicone backbone substituted with at least one polar non-silicone chain and copolymers comprising a polymer skeleton comprising at least one polar, non-silicone backbone substituted with at least one non-polar, silicone chain; and wherein said at least one liquid fatty phase comprises at least one compound comprising at least one ester group and at least one silicone.
- 73. The structured composition according to claim 72, wherein said at least one liquid fatty phase, said at least one copolymer, said at least one compound, and said at least one silicone form a physiologically acceptable medium.
- 74. A composition comprising at least one encapsulated pigment, wherein said at least one encapsulated pigment is dispersed in at least one solvent having a refractive index greater than or equal to 1.44 at a temperature ranging from 20° C. to 25° C.
- 75. A method for maintaining at least one property chosen from color and gloss of a composition on at least one keratinous material comprising
applying a composition comprising at least one encapsulated pigment, wherein said at least one encapsulated pigment is dispersed in at least one silicone.
- 76. A method for modifying the structure of a composition which comprises at least one silicone and at least one compound comprising at least one ester group, wherein said at least one silicone and said at least one compound are incompatible, comprising
including in said composition at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones in an amount effective to provide a stable composition.
- 77. The method according to claim 76, wherein said composition does not comprise any volatile solvents.
- 78. A method for caring for, making up and/or treating at least one keratinous material comprising
applying to said at least one keratinous material a composition comprising:
(a) at least one compound comprising at least one ester group; (b) at least one silicone; and (c) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones, wherein said composition comprises no volatile solvents.
- 79. A method for caring for, making up and/or treating at least one keratinous material comprising
applying to said at least one keratinous material an anhydrous composition comprising:
(a) at least one diester; (b) at least one silicone; and (c) at least one copolymer comprising at least one backbone and at least one chain, wherein at least one of said at least one backbone and at least one chain is chosen from silicones.
