Claims
- 1. A shoe treatment kit comprising:a) an article of manufacture comprising a treating composition for treating one or more shoes comprising one or more benefit agents in a package in association with instructions for use, wherein the instructions direct a consumer to directly or indirectly apply at least an effective amount of the treating composition comprising chromium-binding agents that are capable of binding Cr3+ with a log binding constant of more than 12 in an amount of less than 30% by weight to provide one or more desired benefits to the one or more shoes; b) a flexible container suitable for holding one or more of the shoes; and c) an outer package containing the components a) and b).
- 2. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 1, wherein the article of manufacture includes an applicator;the flexible container comprises a bag; the flexible container is resusable; and/or the kit further comprises a post-wash article, optionally comprising a treating composition comprising a release agent, and optionally, a film-forming polymer.
- 3. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 2 wherein the applicator permits application of the treating composition directly onto the one or more shoes by squeezing and/or rubbing and/or pouring and/or spraying.
- 4. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 2 further comprising a pre-wear article, optionally comprising a treating composition comprising a release agent, and, optionally, a film-forming polymer.
- 5. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 3 wherein either or both of the pre-wash and post-wash articles are in the form of a wipe impregnated with their respective treating composition.
- 6. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 1 wherein the applicator comprises a brush for applying the one or more treating compositions onto the one or more interior or exterior surfaces of the one or more shoes.
- 7. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 1 wherein the treating composition is in a solid form.
- 8. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 6 wherein the solid form comprises a tablet.
- 9. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 1 wherein the flexible container includes a treating composition for treating one or more shoes comprising one or more benefit agents to provide one or more desired benefits to the one or more shoes.
- 10. The shoe treatment kit according to claim 1 further comprising at least one additional article of manufacture comprising a treating composition, wherein each article of manufacture comprises at least one benefit agent not included in the other articles of manufacture.
- 11. An article of manufacture comprising a treating composition for treating one or more shoes comprising one or more benefit agents in a package in association with instructions for use, wherein the instructions direct a consumer to directly or indirectly apply at least an effective amount of the one or more benefit agents comprising chromium-binding agents that are capable of binding Cr3+ with a log binding constant of more than 12 in an amount of less than 30% by weight to provide one or more desired benefits to the one or more shoes.
- 12. An article of manufacture comprising at least one conditioning treating composition for treating one or more shoes and at least one cleaning treating composition for treating one or more shoes, each composition comprising one or more benefit agents and provided in a package in association with instructions for use, wherein the instructions direct a consumer to directly or indirectly apply at least an effective amount of each composition comprising chromium-binding agents that are capable of binding Cr3+ with a log binding constant of more than 12 in an amount of less than 30% by weight to provide one or more desired benefits to the one or more shoes.
- 13. An article of manufacture according to claim 12 further comprising at least one post-wash treating composition for treating one or more shoes comprising one or more benefit agents in a package in association with instructions for use, wherein the instructions direct a consumer to directly or indirectly apply at least an effective amount of the post-wash treating composition to provide one or more desired benefits to the one or more shoes.
- 14. An article of manufacture according to claim 12 further comprising a bag.
