Claims
- 1. An azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of effective amounts of HFC-32 (CH2F2) and HFE-227caEαβ (CF3OCF2CHF2) to form an azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition, and wherein after 50 weight percent of said composition has evaporated, the difference in vapor pressure between the original composition and the remaining composition is less than 10 percent.
- 2. An azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of HFC-32 (CH2F2) and HFE-227caEαβ (CF3OCF2CHF2), wherein said composition has a vapor pressure of from about 244.0 to about 253.4 psia at 25° C., and wherein after 50 weight percent of said composition has evaporated, the difference in vapor pressure between the original composition and the remaining composition is less than 10 percent.
- 3. An azeotropic or azeotrope-like composition consisting essentially of from about 39.0 to about 99.0 weight percent weight percent HFC-32 (CH2F2) and from about 1.0 to about 61.0 weight percent HFE-227caEαβ (CF3OCF2CHF2) having a vapor pressure of from about 244.0 to about 253.4 psia at 25° C.; and wherein after 50 weight percent of said composition has evaporated, the difference in vapor pressure between the original composition and the remaining composition is less than 10 percent.
- 4. A process of heating comprising the step of condensing a composition of claim 1, 2 or 3 in the vicinity of an object to be heated.
- 5. A process of refrigeration comprising the step of evaporating a composition of claim 1, 2 or 3 in the vicinity of an object to be cooled.
