Claims
- 1. A composition for the amelioration of the effects of pseudofolliculitis, for topical application to the effected skin area consisting of;a) an absorbent skin astringent; b) an absorbent epidermal softening agent; c) an absorbent hair stiffening agent; and d) the entire as a mixture compounded in an oil based carrier for promoting absorption into the surface of the skin.
- 2. A composition for topical application to the skin for the amelioration of the effects of pseudofolliculitis consisting of:a) an absorbent skin astringent in a quantity of a little over two parts in ten of the whole; b) an absorbent epidermal softening agent in a quantity three parts in ten of the whole; c) an absorbent hair stiffening agent in an effective amount one part in one hundred of the whole; d) the entire as a mixture compounded in an oil based carrier for promoting absorption into the surface of the skin in an effective amount of four parts in ten of the whole.
- 3. A composition for the amelioration of the effects of pseudofolliculitis, for topical application to the affected skin area consisting of the blended mixture of;a) refined oatmeal powder; b) mink oil; c) apricot kernel; d) wheatgerm oil; e) liquid vitamin A; f) anti-oxidant preservative; and g) pure petroleum jelly as an absorbent carrier.
- 4. A method for the amelioration of the effects of pseudofolliculitis in a shaving individual comprising;a) applying a quantity of the composition described in claim 3 above to the bearded area of the face; b) massaging said composition until a substantially complete absorption into the skin of the face occurs; c) shaving; d) rinsing the face with cool water; e) drying the face of all surface water; f) applying a quantity of the composition described in claim 4 above to the bearded area of the face; and g) massaging of said composition until substantially complete absorption into the skin of the face has occurred with each use.
- 5. A composition for the amelioration of the effects of pseudofolliculitis, for topical application to the effected skin area consisting of;a) an absorbent skin astringent; b) an absorbent epidermal softening agent; c) an absorbent hair stiffening agent; and d) an antioxidant preservative.
- 6. The composition in claim 3 wherein the mixture would be of the following proportions:a) refined oatmeal powder in the amount of 500 grams; b) mink oil in the amount of 350 grams; c) apricot kernel in the amount of 100 grams; d) wheatgerm oil in the amount of 200 grams; e) liquid vitamin A in the amount of 30 grams; f) anti-oxidant preservative in the amount of 30 grams; and g) pure petroleum jelly as an absorbent carrier in the amount of 900 grams.
