Claims
- 1. A method of compressed domain signal bridging of parametric data representing at least one bit stream, comprising:
a) determining which of said parametric data reflects voice signal information; and b) selectively providing at least some of said parametric data reflecting voice information.
- 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein step b) comprises:
i) selectively providing at a first rate when only one input bit stream includes voice information; and ii) selectively providing at a second rate when more than one input bit stream includes voice information.
- 3. The method according to claim 2, wherein said first rate is greater than said second rate.
- 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein step b) further comprises:
i) converting at least one bit stream into frames of parametric data based on a corresponding algorithm; ii) receiving a plurality of frames of said parametric data; and iii) converting said frames for compatibility with a desired algorithm.
- 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein step b) further comprises:
i) selectively providing based on predetermined priorities; and ii) selectively providing parametric data representing at least one bit stream based on said predetermined priorities.
- 6. A device for compressed domain signal bridging parametric data representing at least one bit stream, comprising:
a) means for determining which of said parametric data reflects voice signal information; and b) means for selectively providing at least some of said parametric data reflecting voice information.
- 7. The device according to claim 6, wherein step b) comprises:
i) means for selectively providing at a first rate when only one input bit stream includes voice information; and ii) means for selectively providing at a second rate when more than one input bit stream includes voice information.
- 8. The device according to claim 7, wherein said first rate is greater than said second rate.
- 9. The device according to claim 6, wherein step b) further comprises:
i) means for converting at least one bit stream into frames of parametric data based on a corresponding algorithm; ii) means for receiving a plurality of frames of said parametric data; and iii) means for converting said frames for compatibility with a desired algorithm.
- 10. The device according to claim 6, wherein step b) further comprises:
i) means for selectively providing based on predetermined priorities; and ii) means for selectively providing parametric data representing at least one bit stream based on said predetermined priorities.
- 11. A device for compressed domain signal bridging of parametric data representing at least one bit stream, comprising:
a) a detection circuit operatively connected to determine which of said parametric data reflects voice signal information; and b) a filtering circuit operatively connected to selectively provide at least some of said parametric data reflecting voice information.
- 12. The device according to claim 11, wherein step b) comprises:
i) a first driving circuit operatively connected to selectively provide at a first rate when only one input bit stream includes voice information; and ii) a second driving circuit operatively connected to selectively provide at a second rate when more than one input bit stream includes voice data.
- 13 The device according to claim 12, wherein said first rate is greater than said second rate.
- 14. The device according to claim 11, wherein step b) further comprises:
i) a conversion circuit for converting at least one bit stream into frames of parametric data based on a corresponding algorithm; ii) a receiving circuit operatively connected to receive a plurality of frames of said parametric data; and iii) a conversion circuit operatively connected to convert said frames for compatibility with a desired algorithm.
- 15. The device according to claim 11, wherein step b) further comprises:
i) a first driving circuit operatively connected to selectively provide based on predetermined priorities; and ii) a second driving circuit operatively connected to selectively provide parametric data representing at least one bit stream based on said predetermined priorities.
