1. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to a computer chassis, more particularly, to a computer chassis on which a motherboard can be conveniently mounted.
2. Description of Related Art
Many motherboards can only be mounted in a computer chassis with fasteners, such as screws or bolts. However, it can be difficult and time consuming to properly align securing holes of the motherboard with securing holes of the computer chassis.
Therefore, there is room for improvement within the art.
Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
The disclosure is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation in the figures of the accompanying drawings in which like references indicate similar elements. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean at least one.

The enclosure 10 includes a bottom plate 11 and a rear plate 13. The rear plate 13 is perpendicularly connected to a rear edge of the bottom plate 11. A plurality of convex projections 12 is protruded from the bottom plate 11. Each of the plurality of convex projections 12 defines a first mounting hole 121. The plurality of convex projections 12 can support the motherboard 30 thereon. The bottom plate 11 further includes a plurality of first restricting pieces 15 and a plurality of second restricting pieces 14 located thereon. The plurality of first restricting pieces 15, the plurality of second restricting pieces 14, and the rear plate 13 together surround a mounting area 18 on the bottom plate 11. The plurality of first restricting pieces 15 and the rear plate 13 are located on opposite two edges of the mounting area 18. The plurality of second restricting pieces 14 are located on another opposite two edges of the mounting area 18. The plurality of convex projections 12 are located in the mounting area 18.

In the computer chassis, the first guiding piece 151 and the second guiding piece 141 can guide the motherboard 30 to slide into the correct position where the plurality of first restricting pieces 15 and the plurality of second restricting pieces 14 can conveniently keep the motherboard 30 in the correct position where the first mounting holes 121 and the plurality of second mounting holes 31 are aligned, while fasteners are installed. The first guiding piece 151 and the second guiding piece 141 are arc-shaped to prevent scratching the motherboard 30.
It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and functions of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in the matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
