Claims
- 1. A method, in a computer convergence system having a first input for receiving a first signal, a second input for receiving a second input, and two destination surfaces mapped by an interface, for arbitrating a user's request to access an input and a first one of the two destination surfaces, said method comprising the steps of:
Determining if the interface is available; if the determination is made that the interface is not available, preventing the user's request to access the first one of the two destination surfaces; else accessing an input; accessing the first one of the two destination surfaces; making the accessed input unavailable for additional user requests; and making the interface unavailable for additional user requests.
- 2. The method as recited in claim 1, further comprising the steps of making the unavailable input available and making the interface available subsequent to the completion of the user's access to the first one of the two destination surfaces.
