Claims
- 1. A method for the preparation of a lithographic printing plate, said method comprising dispensing information-wise by means of ink jet printing droplets of a fluid onto a surface of a lithographic receiver, characterized in that said fluid contains an oleophilizing compound chosen from the group consisting of a catechol, a pyrogallol and a salicylic acid.
- 2. A method according to claim 1 wherein said oleophilizing compound is present in said fluid in an amount ranging from 0.01 to 6 by weight.
- 3. A method according to claim 1 wherein said fluid further contains a colorant.
- 4. A method according to claim 1 wherein said surface of said lithographic receiver is metallic.
- 5. A method according to claim 4 wherein said metallic surface is a grained and anodised aluminum.
- 6. A method according to claim 1 wherein said lithographic receiver comprises a support and a cross-linked hydrophilic layer.
- 7. A method according to claim 6 wherein said hydrophilic layer comprises an inorganic pigment.
- 8. A method according to claim 7 wherein said inorganic pigment is chosen from an oxide or hydroxide of beryllium, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, gadolinium, arsenic, indium, tin, antimony, tellurium, lead, bismuth, titanium or a transition metal.
- 9. A method for the preparation of a lithographic printing plate, said method comprising dispensing information-wise by means of ink jet printing droplets of a fluid onto a surface of a lithographic receiver, characterized in that said fluid contains an oleophilizing compound and said oleophilizing compound is a salicylic acid.
- 10. A method according to claim 9 wherein said salicylic acid is selected from the group consisting of:
- 11. A method according to claim 9 wherein said oleophilizing compound is present in said fluid in an amount ranging from 0.01 to 6 by weight.
- 12. A method according to claim 9 wherein said fluid further contains a colorant.
- 13. A method according to claim 9 wherein said surface of said lithographic receiver is metallic.
- 14. A method according to claim 13 wherein said metallic surface is a grained and anodised aluminum.
- 15. A method according to claim 9 wherein said lithographic receiver comprises a support and a cross-linked hydrophilic layer.
- 16. A method according to claim 15 wherein said hydrophilic layer comprises an inorganic pigment.
- 17. A method according to claim 16 wherein said inorganic pigment is chosen from an oxide or hydroxide of beryllium, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, gadolinium, arsenic, indium, tin, antimony, tellurium, lead, bismuth, titanium or a transition metal.
- 18. A method for the preparation of a lithographic printing plate, said method comprising dispensing information-wise by means of ink jet printing droplets of a fluid onto a surface of a lithographic receiver, characterized in that said fluid contains an oleophilizing compound chosen from the group consisting of:
- 19. A method according to claim 18 wherein said oleophilizing compound is present in said fluid in an amount ranging from 0.01 to 6 by weight.
- 20. A method according to claim 18 wherein said fluid further contains a colorant.
- 21. A method according to claim 18 wherein said surface of said lithographic receiver is metallic.
- 22. A method according to claim 21 wherein said metallic surface is a grained and anodised aluminum.
- 23. A method according to claim 18 wherein said lithographic receiver comprises a support and a cross-linked hydrophilic layer.
- 24. A method according to claim 23 wherein said hydrophilic layer comprises an inorganic pigment.
- 25. A method according to claim 24 wherein said inorganic pigment is chosen from an oxide or hydroxide of beryllium, magnesium, aluminum, silicon, gadolinium, arsenic, indium, tin, antimony, tellurium, lead, bismuth, titanium or a transition metal.
