- mechanical latch means being set at one of a first position and a second position, for locking said memory board to said computer system when said latch means is set at the first position, and for releasing a lock condition of said memory board to said computer system when said latch means is set at the second position;
- detector means for detecting said latch means being moved from the first position to the second position while the main power is supplied to said computer system; and
- second data saving means, in response to the detection by said detector means, for saving the system data into said data storage device whether or not said resume mode is set.
- 6. A computer system comprising:
- a data transfer bus;
- a storage device coupled to said bus for storing data;
- a removable device mounted on said computer system;
- mechanical latch means being set at one of a first position and a second position, for locking said removable device;
