Claims
- 1. A form supporting bracket for supporting a concrete form on a support surface, said bracket comprising means for engaging and holding said form, a base plate extending outwardly from said form engaging means and having at least one aperture therein, a rigid support rod extending through said aperture for securing said base plate against lateral movement, and a means for clamping the base plate to the support rod to prevent angular movement of said rod relative to said base plate, said clamping means including a rigid angle member having at least two angle legs, at least one of said angle legs having an aperture through which said support rod extends, the other angle leg being engaged against the base plate.
- 2. A form supporting bracket according to claim 1, and further comprising a gusset plate extending between said angle legs for strengthening said angle member.
- 3. A form supporting bracket according to claim 1, and further comprising an upper plate spaced above said base plate such that said other angle leg engages and is wedged between said upper plate and said base plate.
- 4. A form supporting bracket according to claim 3, wherein said other angle leg includes an open slot at an end thereof distal from the apertured angle leg, said upper plate being received in said slot.
