Claims
- 1. A conductor material made of an electrically conductive nitride produced by reaction sintering a shaped body consisting essentially of particles of at least one metal selected from Ti, Zr, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, W, Fe and Ni, said particles being free of Si, in a CO-free nitrogen-containing atmosphere, said conductor material having a porosity of 7.5 to 35%.
- 2. The conductor material made of an electrically conductive nitride according to claim 1, having an electrical resistivity at room temperature of 5.times.10.sup.-5 .OMEGA.cm or less.
- 3. The conductor material made of an electrically conductive nitride according to claim 1, containing whiskers of said nitride produced by said reaction sintering.
- 4. The conductor material made of an electrically conductive nitride according to claim 1, produced by said reaction sintering and hot isostatic press.
- 5. A conductor material made of an electrically conductive nitride produced by reaction sintering a shaped body consisting essentially of (a) particles of at least one metal selected from Ti, Zr, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, W, Fe and Ni and (b) particles of at least one of silicon and aluminum in a CO-free nitrogen-containing atmosphere at a temperature below the melting point of the mixed metal powder of (a) and (b), wherein an amount of said particles of at least one of silicon and aluminum is such that at least one of the resultant silicon nitride and aluminum nitride produced by said reaction sintering said conductor material having an electrical resistivity of 10.sup.14 to 10.sup.-5 .OMEGA.cm, wherein said electrically conductive ceramic sintered body has a porosity below 30%.
- 6. The conductor material made of an electrically conductive nitride according to claim 5, having an electrical resistivity at room temperature of 5.times.10.sup.-5 .OMEGA.cm or less.
- 7. The conductor material made of an electrically conductive nitride according to claim 5, containing whiskers of said nitride produced by said reaction sintering.
