Abstract
This invention relates to a confetti-throwing device which is arranged inside containers used to offer gift articles. The device is characterised by a confetti reservoir and a propelling mechanism comprising a propeller and a motor, in this case an elastic band is used as the motor, but any other type of motor that generates the movement necessary to throw the confetti inside the container into the air outside the container when the container is opened can be used. The device is used in the following manner: once the gift has been placed inside the container, the confetti-throwing device is full and the propelling mechanism is in position and ready to be activated, the container is closed, and in this case the actuation system causes the propeller to be stopped until the container is opened by the person receiving the gift, releasing the propeller and causing the confetti to be expelled from the container.
Description
INVENTION OBJECTIVE

The invention herein is an innovative idea that refers to a device, which, when the lid of a gift container is removed, throws confetti from inside.

This invention is one more addition to the characteristics of gift containers; this, one of the objectives of the invention herein is to increase the wow factor, and to generate greater excitement and heartiness among people, when opening a present.

BACKGROUND

In general, as widely known, containers used to place presents or gifts are usually made of several materials, they come in many shapes and colors. These can be decorated inside and outside, and one of the main objectives of these containers is to protect the item in them, and to avoid the person receiving the gift from seeing the item inside.

While searching for the technique status for confetti-throwing gift containers, there was no evidence or details found about these devices being previously developed or patented.

The only thing found in some online websites were drawings and pictures of gift containers throwing confetti, mostly computer-based designs, but as mentioned in the paragraph above, there is no evidence of any development of these designs.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

The pieces and characteristic details of this device are described below, and a clear example of the preferred execution is also shown, schematically shown, with no single scale determined, in the sheets attached in order to clarify that, as an example, it cannot be assigned an exclusive or limitative nature regarding the protection of the invention herein, it is only an explanatory and illustrative image, on which the design is based.

FIG. 1 shows a gift container with no lid, in an isometric view, showing the confetti-throwing device attached to one of the container's walls.

FIG. 2 shows a lateral view of the container with the lid on, and the confetti-throwing device ready to be released.

FIG. 3 shows a lateral view of an open container, and the confetti-throwing device activated and throwing confetti.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order to relate the drawings mentioned to the descriptive list below, a common reference number has been assigned to the same parts or pieces shown in all figures.

According to the expected for the “confetti-throwing device for gift containers”, it contains a deposit for confetti 1; a triggering system 2; and a drive mechanism 3; all setup to throw confetti 4; to the outside of the container 5; when it is opened.

The drive mechanism 3, contains: a motor 6, and a helix 7; that spins around its axle and throws confetti 4, to the outside of the container 5.

In this case, a rubber band is used as motor 6, but a different type of motor can be used in order to generate the necessary movement to throw confetti into the air from inside the container, to the outside of the container when the lid is removed.

According to the descriptions and drawings attached, the construction and functional advantages are clearly highlighted, which characterize the invention considered, without considering it necessary to go deeper into more details on this matter, except for the fact that the inventor has the right to introduce additional modifications to the details, without exceeding the limits and scope of the following claim clauses.

Claims
  • 1. Gift container comprised by: a deposit filled with confetti and a drive mechanism setup to throw confetti from inside the container to the outside; such mechanism is released when the container is opened.
  • 2. Gift container, according to claim 1, characterized by a drive mechanism comprised by: a motor, and a helix throwing confetti into air.
  • 3. Gift container, according to claim 1, characterized by having a system that releases the drive mechanism by opening the container. This invention refers to a confetti-throwing device that will be installed inside the containers used to give items as presents. The device is characterized by a deposit filled with confetti and a drive mechanism with a helix and a motor, in this case, a rubber band is used as motor, but a different type of motor can be used, which generates the necessary movement to throw confetti into the air from inside the container when it is opened. The instructions for use are as follows: once the gifts have been placed inside the container, and the confetti deposit is filled, and the drive mechanism is in positions and ready to activate, the container is closed, in this case, the activation system makes the helix stop until the container is opened by the person receiving the present, throwing confetti outside the container, once the helix is released.
