Abstract
A connecting ring for interior cross straps of a suitcase has a sewing sheet and at least one connecting collar. The connecting collar is mounted perpendicularly to the sewing sheet. The sewing sheet is mounted in the suitcase by sewing, which is the same method for mounting the lining cloth, thereby improving the manufacturing efficiency by a simplified producing process with the same machining method.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a connecting ring of a luggage, particularly to a connecting ring connecting with connecting straps that mounted on an inner surface of a suitcase.

2. Description of the Prior Arts

A suitcase has connecting straps for holding objects contained inside the suitcase. The connecting straps are mounted inside of the suitcase. With reference to FIGS. 6 and 7, one end of a connecting strap 40 is clamped between a block 20 and a suitcase 30 by using a rivet 21. Since an ordinary interior lining cloth is sewed in the suitcase 30, the conventional way to mount the connecting strap 40 is different from the way to mount the lining cloth. To manufacturers, it is time-consuming to change between variable machining methods in a manufacturing process.

With reference to FIG. 6, a bending part of the connecting strap 40 is formed between the block 20 and the suitcase 30 and is perpendicular to the remaining part of the connecting strap. The bending part gets damaged and even fractured easily by concentrating forces when the connecting strap 40 is pulled for a long time.

To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a connecting ring for interior cross straps of a suitcase to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The main objective of the present invention is to provide a connecting ring for interior cross straps of a suitcase that can reduce the time of a manufacturing process, and can prevent the damage to connecting straps of the suitcase caused by long-time use.

The connecting ring for interior cross straps of a suitcase comprises a sewing sheet. The sewing sheet is mounted on an inner surface of a suitcase and is a soft and thin sheet. At least one connecting collar is formed on an elongated side of the sewing sheet and is perpendicular to the sewing sheet.

The connecting collar can be mounted on the inner surface of the suitcase by sewing, which is the same method for mounting a lining cloth in a suitcase. Using the same machining method improves the producing efficiency. A connecting strap is mounted on the connecting collar to form a camber so that the pulling forces from the connecting strap are distributed by the camber.

Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to FIG. 1, a connecting ring for interior cross straps of a suitcase in accordance with the present invention comprises a sewing sheet 10 and a connecting collar 11. The sewing sheet 10 is a soft and thin sheet made of plastic. The connecting collar 11 is formed on an elongated side of the sewing sheet 10 and is perpendicular to the sewing sheet 11. A linking hole 12 is formed through the connecting collar 11.

With reference to FIGS. 2 and 3, four connecting collars as described are sewed in the suitcase 30. Each connecting collar 11 is mounted near one of the four corners in the suitcase 30. Two of the connecting collars are mounted on one of the inner surfaces of the suitcase while the other two of the connecting collars are mounted on the opposite one of the inner surfaces of the suitcase. Two connecting straps 40 are respectively mounted securely between four connecting collars. Two ends of each connecting strap 40 are mounted respectively through the linking holes 12 of the connecting collars on the same inner surface of the suitcase. The connecting straps 40 are connected detachably with each other by a buckle 50.

With reference to FIG. 4, four connecting collars as described are respectively sewed on the four corners of the suitcase 30.

With reference to FIG. 5, two connecting collars as described are respectively sewed on the two opposite inner surfaces in the suitcase 30.

The connecting collar as described can be mounted on the inner surface of the suitcase by sewing, which is the same method for mounting a lining cloth in a suitcase 30. Using the same method improves the manufacturing efficiency. A connecting strap 40 is mounted on the connecting collar as described and forms a camber. Damage to the connecting strap can be prevented since the pulling forces are distributed by the camber.

Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and features of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in the details, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
