Abstract
A mask includes a body with a goggle engaged connected thereto and the goggle includes a first connection portion and a second connection portion on an inside of a frame of the goggle. A first connection plate and a second connection plate each have a pad connected on an inside thereof. The first and second connection portions each include holes and the two connection plates have protrusions which are removably engaged with the holes in the first and second connection portions.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(1) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a mask used in paint ball game and the pads are removably connected to the goggle and can be easily cleaned individually.

(2) Description of the Prior Art

A conventional mask for paint ball games generally includes a goggle which is fixed to the mask so as to protect wearers' eyes from being injured by the paint balls which moves at high speed and the paint splashes on the goggle during the game. In order to provide a comfortable wearing of the mask, multiple pads made by soft material are connected to the inside of the goggle frame and the pads are in contact with the wearer's face. The pads also absorb sweats and stop the sweats from flowing to the lens of the goggle. The paint is spread on the masks after games and the masks are to be cleaned. The pads get wet after cleaning and the masks are not suitable to wear immediately for next players. However, a lot of masks are needed to be replaced for different players in the following games.

The present invention intends to provide a connection of the pads and the goggle for masks wherein the pads are connected to connection plates which include L-shaped locking members which are removably engaged with slots defined in an inside of the goggle frame. Therefore, the pads and the connection plates can be removed from the goggle frame and new and dry pads and connection plates are connected to the goggle for the next user.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a mask which comprises a body having a through hole defined therethrough with which a goggle is engaged. The goggle includes a first connection portion and a second connection portion on an inside of a frame thereof and a lens is engaged with the goggle and located between the first and second connection portions. A first connection plate includes a first pad connected on an inside thereof and an outside of the first connection plate is removably connected to the first connection portion. A second connection plate includes a second pad connected on an inside thereof and an outside of the second connection plate is removably connected to the second connection portion.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is an exploded view to show the mask with the goggle of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is an exploded view to show the goggle and the connection plates and the pads of the present invention;

FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view to show the engagement of the L-shaped locking members of the connection plates and the slots of the connection portions of the goggle frame, and

FIG. 4 shows that pads are connected to the connection plates.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the mask of the present invention comprises a body 10 which shaped to be suitable mounted to a user's face and has a through hole 11 defined therethrough. Two lugs extend from two inner ends of the through hole 11 and each lug has a first hole 12.

A goggle 20 includes a lens 21 connected thereto and is engaged with the through hole 11. The goggle 20 includes two side parts 22 and each side part 22 has a second hole which is located in alignment with the first hole 12 of the body 10. Two positioning plates are located at insides of the lugs and two respective protrusions on two locking members extend through the aligned first holes 12, second holes and the holes in the positioning plates to connect the goggle 20 to the body 10.

The goggle 20 includes a first connection portion 241 and a second connection portion 242 on an inside of a frame of the goggle 20. The lens 21 is located between the first and second connection portions 241, 242. Each of the first and second connection portions 241, 242 has slots 25 defined therein.

A first connection plate 261 has a first pad 29 connected on an inside thereof and a plurality of protrusions 27 extend from an outside of the first connection plate 261. Two L-shaped locking members 28 are located on the outside of two ends of the first connection plate 261. A second connection plate 262 has a second pad 290 connected on an inside thereof and a plurality of protrusions 27 extend from an outside of the second connection plate 262. Two L-shaped locking members 28 are located on the outside of two ends of the second connection plate 261. A central L-shaped locking member 280 is connected to a central portion of the outside of the second connection plate 262.

Each of the first and second connection portions 241, 242 has holes with which the protrusions 27 are engaged, and the L-shaped locking members 28, and the central L-shaped locking member 280 are engaged with the slots in the first and second connection portions 241, 242.

The first and second pads 29, 290 are fixed to the first and second connection plates 261, 261 by any known method such as gluing or ultrasonic welding. Each of the first and second pads 29, 290 are made by foam material, Polyfunctional compound (PC), Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or silicon rubber.

The first and second connection plates 261, 262 can be easily disengaged from the goggle 20 and new connection plates 261, 262 with first and second pads 29, 290 are easily connected to the goggle 20.

While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
