The present invention relates, in general, to a construction panel and a reinforcement plate and, more particularly, to a construction panel and a reinforcement plate in which placing a sealing member between a panel connecting section and the reinforcement plate provides an excellent waterproof effect.
A construction panel is installed by disposing a plurality of panels close to each other, and reinforcement plates are installed in connecting portions. In order to facilitate the connection of respective panels, each panel is provided with a fitting pipe, such as a pipe, and a pipe having a cut portion is formed on both edges thereof. The cut portion is configured such that the fitting pipe can be easily fitted into the pipe having a cut portion.
The strength with which a plurality of panels are coupled together is reinforced by providing reinforcement plates in portions in which the fitting pipe and the pipe, which has the cut portion such that the fitting pipe can be easily fitted thereinto, are coupled to each other.
Korean Registered Utility Model No. 20-0344628 of the applicant disclosed a construction panel that is configured such that a plurality of panels are disposed so as to be adjacent to each other and reinforcement plates are easily coupled to portions in which the panels are connected. This configuration provides advantages in that the connecting portions between the panels and the reinforcement plates can be easily coupled even though the panels are connected regardless of the angle of inclination, and that the construction panel can be easily constructed using fitting protrusions, which are formed on the portion in which the panels are connected, and inward bent portions of the reinforcement plates, which are to be fastened to the fitting protrusions.
However, this construction panel has a drawback in that, when the construction panel is installed outdoors, rain or another type of fluid may penetrate through the gap that exists between the connecting portion, which is formed between the panels, and the reinforcement plate, which is coupled to the connecting portion.
Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the related art, and is intended to provide a construction panel and a reinforcement plate that provides an excellent waterproof effect whereby rain or other types of fluid are prevented from entering through a gap between a connecting portion, which is formed between panels, and a reinforcement plate, which is coupled to the connecting portion.
In order to realize the foregoing object, the present invention provides a construction panel that includes:
panels;
a first pipe positioned on one edge of each of the panels;
a first connecting portion, which connects the first pipe to one edge of each of the panels;
a second pipe positioned on the other edge of each of the panels;
a second connecting portion, which connects the second pipe to the other edge of each of the panels; and
a reinforcement plate with which the first connecting portion of one panel is coupled with the second connecting portion of another panel when the first pipe of one panel is connected to the second pipe of the other panel, wherein
the first connecting portion, the second connecting portion and the reinforcement plate are connected by a female coupling portion and a male coupling portion, wherein the female coupling portion is provided on the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion or on the reinforcement portion, the male coupling portion is formed on the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion or on the reinforcement portion where the female coupling portion is not provided, and the female coupling portion is provided with a sealing member.
In order to realize the foregoing object, the present invention also provides a construction panel that includes:
panels;
a first pipe positioned on one edge of each of the panels;
a first connecting portion, which connects the first pipe to one edge of each of the panels;
a second pipe positioned on the other edge of each of the panels; and
a second connecting portion, which connects the second pipe to the other edge of each of the panels, wherein
each of the first and second connecting portions is provided with a female coupling portion, which has a fitting groove that is configured such that a sealing member is to be fitted thereinto.
In order to realize the foregoing object, the present invention also provides a reinforcement plate that reinforces a connecting portion by coupling both first and second panels to each other when one side of the first panel is connected to the other side of the second panel, wherein the reinforcement plate includes female coupling portions provided on both edges thereof, each of the female coupling portions having a fitting groove that is formed such that a sealing member is to be fitted thereinto.
As described above, the construction panel and the reinforcement plate according to the present invention have the following advantages.
(1) Due to the use of the reinforcement plate or panel in which the sealing member is provided, it is advantageously possible to prevent a fluid, such as rain, from entering between the connecting portion, which is formed between the panels, and the reinforcement plate.
(2) In addition, due to the excellent waterproof effect, it is possible to install a tank/vessel for containing liquid using the construction panel and the reinforcement plate of the invention.
Hereinafter exemplary embodiments of a construction panel according to the invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, the overall shape of the construction panel 1 will be described in detail.
In each panel 10, a plurality of reinforcement posts 12 is vertically disposed between two boards 11.
A plurality of hollow portions 13 is formed by the plurality of reinforcement posts 12 disposed between the boards 11.
A first pipe 30 is positioned on one edge 20 of the panel.
In addition, a first connecting portion 40, which connects one edge 20 of the pane 20 to the first pipe 30, is provided, and the first connecting portion 40 is provided with a male or female coupling portion.
The female or male coupling portion formed in the first coupling portion 40 will be described later.
Likewise, a second pipe 35 is positioned in the other edge 25 of the panel.
In addition, a second connecting portion 60, which connects the other edge 25 of the panel to the second pipe 35, is provided, and the second connecting portion 60 is provided with a female or male coupling portion.
The second pipe 35 positioned in the other edge 25 of the panel has a cut portion 37 in the outer portion thereof. The diameter of the second pipe 35 is greater than that of the first pipe 30.
In this fashion, since the diameter of the second pipe 35 positioned on the other edge of the panel is greater than that of the first pipe 30, the first pipe 30 can be fitted into the second pipe 35 when connecting the plurality of panels 10.
In addition, the cut portion 37 of the second pipe 35 serves to facilitate the coupling between the pipes 25 and 35.
The plurality of panels 10 are provided adjacent to each other. A method is used to connect the first pipe 30 positioned in one edge 20 of the panel to the second pipe 35 positioned in the other edge 25 of the panel.
A detailed description will be give below of the connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60 of the panel.
First, the first connecting portion 40 of the panel connects one portion 20 of the panel to the first pipe 30.
The first connecting portion 40 includes a first linear portion 41, which horizontally extends from one edge 20 of the panel to the first pipe 30, an inclined portion 45, which extends downward to the right from the terminal 42 of the first linear portion, and a second linear portion 48, which horizontally extends from the terminal 46 of the inclined portion to the first pipe 30.
The terminal 49 of the second linear portion is connected to one side of the first pipe 30.
The male coupling portion 50 positioned in the first connecting portion 40 of the panel protrudes from the portion at which the terminal 42 of the first linear portion is in contact with the inclined portion 45 and extends to one portion 20 of the panel.
The male portion 50 is formed symmetrically about the center line of the cross-section of the panel.
Next, the second connecting portion 60 connects the other edge 25 of the panel to the second pipe 35.
The second connecting portion 60 includes a first linear portion 61, which horizontally extends from the other edge 25 of the panel to the second pipe 35. The terminal 62 of the first linear portion 61 is connected to one side of the second pipe 35.
The first linear portion 61 has a male coupling portion 70, which protrudes to the other edge 25 of the panel.
The male coupling portion is formed symmetrically about the center line of the cross-section of the panel.
As described above, the plurality of panels 10 are connected together by a method of fitting the first pipe 30 into the second pipe 35.
Since the method of connecting only the first pipe 30 and the second pipe 35 together does not couple the plurality of panels together with sufficient strength, reinforcement plates 100 are required. The reinforcement plates 100 reinforce the strength of the coupling between panels and improve the finished state by concealing a panel-connecting portion 90.
A description will be given below of the reinforcement plates 100.
The reinforcement plates 100 serve to provide finishing by concealing the panel-connecting portion 90.
According to the overall shape of each reinforcement plate 100, the upper surface 101 is formed of a flat surface, and the lower surface 102 is provided with a female coupling portion 103, which will be described later.
It is preferred that the cross-sectional width of the reinforcement plate 100 should be able to conceal the panel-connecting portion 90.
The female coupling portion 103 of the reinforcement plate includes bent portions 110, which are formed on both edges 105 of the reinforcement plate, and ribs 120, which are formed inward of the bent portions.
The bent portions 110 and the ribs 120 extend in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100.
Each bent portion 110 has a first bent portion 111 and a second bent portion 113, which is bent outward from the terminal of the first bent portion.
The first bent portion 111 is formed parallel to the rib 120, and the second bent portion 113, which is bent outward, is shorter than the first bent portion 111.
When viewed about the center line in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100, the overall shape of the bent portions 110 on the both edges of the reinforcement plate is such that the bent portions 110 are toward the center line of the reinforcement plate 100.
The rib 120 formed inward of the bent portion 110 is shorter than the bent portion 110, and serves to facilitate the connection between the reinforcement plate 100 and the panel-connecting portion 90.
A sealing member 150 is disposed between the bent portion 110 and the rib 120, which is inward of the bent portion.
It is preferred that the sealing member 150 be made of an elastic material.
The reinforcement plate 100, in which the sealing members 150 are provided in the female coupling portion 103 as above, is connected with the panel coupling portion 90 as follows.
The male coupling portions 50 and 70, which protrude outward from the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60, are fitted into the female portions 103 of the reinforcement plate.
As described above, since the female coupling portion 103 of the reinforcement plate is formed including the bent portion 110 and the rib 120, the male coupling portions 50 and 70 are fitted into the spaces 125 between the bent portions 110 and the ribs 120.
Since the sealing members 150 are disposed in the spaces 125 between the inner bent portions and the ribs, the male coupling portions 50 and 70 are brought into close contact with the sealing members 150, which are provided in the female coupling portions 103, in the process of fitting the reinforcement plate 100 into the panel-connecting portion 90 by applying a small amount of force thereto.
Since the sealing members 150 are made of an elastic material, due to force with which the male coupling portions 50 and 70 are tightly pushed, the sealing members 150 are slightly deformed, and the male coupling portions 50 and 70 and the female coupling portions 103 are tightly coupled.
As a result, since the male coupling portions 50 and 70, the female coupling portions 103 and the sealing members 150, which are provided in the female coupling portions, are in close contact, it is possible to prevent a gap from occurring between the panel-connecting portion 90 and the reinforcement plate 100, which is coupled thereto.
Therefore, it is possible to prevent rain or another type of liquid from entering through the gap between the panel-connecting portion 90 and the reinforcement plate 100, which is coupled thereto.
The exemplary embodiment of the invention as described above is based on the case in which the sealing member 150 is disposed in the female coupling portion 103, which is formed in the reinforcement plate 100, and the male coupling portions 50 and 70 are formed on the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portions 60 of the panel. In contrast, in another embodiment of the invention, the male coupling portions 50 and 70 may be formed on the reinforcement plate 100, whereas the female coupling portions 103 in which the sealing members 150 are disposed may be formed on the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60.
With reference to the accompanying drawings, a detailed description will be given below of panels 10, which have female coupling portions 200a and 200b in which fitting grooves 160 are formed such that the sealing members 150 can be inserted thereinto.
First, among the components of the panels 10 of the invention, the first pipe 30, which is positioned on one edge of the panel, the first connecting portion 40, which connects one edge 20 of the panel to the first pipe 30, the second pipe, which is positioned on the other edge 25 of the panel and has the cut portion 37, and the second connecting portion 60, which connects the other edge 25 of the panel to the second pipe 25, are the same as above and thus detailed descriptions thereof will be omitted. The followed detailed description will be given with reference to the drawings, mainly about the female coupling portions 200a and 200b, which are formed in the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60, and in which the fitting grooves 160 are formed such that the sealing members 150 can be inserted thereinto.
First, the female coupling portion 200a formed in the first connecting portion 40 will be described in detail.
The female coupling portion 200a of the first connecting portion has a first rib 205, which extends upward to the right from the terminal 42 of the first linear portion, and a second rib 210, which is formed outward of the first rib 205 such that they are in parallel.
The first rib 205 and the second rib 210 also continuously extend in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100.
The fitting groove 160 is formed between the first rib 205 and the second rib 210, and the sealing member may be fitted into the fitting groove 160.
Next, a detailed description will be given of the female coupling portion 200b, which is formed in the second connecting portion.
The female coupling portion 200b of the second connecting portion has a first rib 215, which extends upward to the left from the terminal 62 of the first linear portion 61 of the second connecting portion, and a second rib 220, which is positioned outward of the first rib 215 and is parallel to the first rib 215.
The first rib 215 and the second rib 220 also continuously extend in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100.
The insert groove 160 is formed between the first rib 215 and the second rib 220, and the sealing member may be fitted into the fitting groove 160.
When the female coupling portions 200a and 200b are formed in the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60 of the panel, it is preferred that the reinforcement plate 100 that is to be connected to the panel-connecting portion 90 be provided with a male coupling portion 104.
A detailed description will be given below of an exemplary embodiment of the reinforcement plate of the invention.
In the reinforcement plate 100 that reinforces the connecting portion 90 by coupling both first and second panels to each other when one side 20 of the first panel is connected to the other side 25 of the second panel, the female coupling portions 103 in which the fitting grooves 170 are formed such that the sealing members 150 can be fitted thereinto are provided on both edges 105 of the reinforcement plate.
The female coupling portion 103 is formed on both edges of the reinforcement plate.
The female coupling portion 103 of the reinforcement plate includes the bent portions 110, which are formed on both edges of the reinforcement plate, and ribs 120, which are formed inward of the bent portions 110.
The bent portions 110 and the ribs 120 continuously extend in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100.
Each bent portion 110 has the first bent portion 111, which is bent to the center line in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100, and the second bent portion 113, which is bent outward from the terminal of the first bent portion.
The ribs 120 are formed inward of the bent portions 110.
Since the ribs 120 are formed parallel to the first bent portion 111 of the bent portion, it has a shape that is inclined to the center line in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100.
Each fitting groove 170 is formed between the bent portion 110 and the rib 120.
The fitting groove 170 also continuously extends in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement plate 100.
When the sealing members are fitted into the fitting grooves 170, which is formed such that the sealing members can be fitted thereinto, it is advantageous in terms of the waterproof effect to use an elastic sealing member.
A detailed description will be given below of another exemplary embodiment of the reinforcement plate of the invention with reference to the drawings.
Likewise, the female coupling portions 103 are formed on both edges of the reinforcement plate.
Here, each female plate 103 has hooks, in particular, two hooks that face each other.
The fitting groove 170 is formed between the hooks, and in the same fashion as above, the sealing member 170 can be fitted into the fitting groove 170.
The hooks of the female coupling portion 103 of the reinforcement plate have the following shape.
Each hook has a vertical portion 131, which protrudes from the lower surface 102 of the reinforcement plate to the panel-connecting portion 90, and a horizontal portion 133, which horizontally extends from the terminal 132 of the vertical portion such that it faces a horizontal portion of the opposite hook.
Since the horizontal portions 133 have a projection, they are slightly deformable and are held by the male coupling portions 50 and 70 formed in the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60.
Here, each of the male coupling portions 50 and 70 formed in the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60 of the panel is provided with a fitting protrusion.
Each fitting protrusion of the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion is as follows.
Each of the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60 of the panel includes a vertical portion 181, which protrudes upward therefrom, and horizontal portions 183, which horizontally diverge from the terminal 182 of the vertical portion such that they face in the opposite direction.
The connection between the reinforcement plate 100 and the panel-connecting portion 90 is as follows.
When a small amount of force is applied to the reinforcement plate 100 after the reinforcement plate 100 is brought close to the panel-connecting portion 90, the horizontal portions 133 of the hooks of the reinforcement plate are connected to the horizontal portions 183 of the fitting protrusions of the first connecting portion 40 and the second connecting portion 60 of the panels in a fitting fashion.
Although the exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been described for illustrative purposes, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as disclosed in the accompanying claims.
