The present application claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 201720110242.5, filed with the State Intellectual Property Office on Feb. 6, 2017 and titled “Container for Containing Liquid Crystal”, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
The present disclosure relates to the field of manufacture of display devices, and in particular to a container and a system for containing liquid crystal.
Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Displays (TFT-LCD) have advantages of stable pictures, life-like images, saving space and energy consumption, etc., and are thus widely applied to electronic products such as televisions, mobile phones and displays. To enable the TFT-LCD display function, when a TFT-LCD is manufactured, liquid crystal needs to be instilled on an array substrate before the array substrate and a color filter substrate are box aligned. Then, the box aligned array substrate and color filter substrate are encapsulated with encapsulation adhesive.
In the related art, the liquid crystal is generally stored in a liquid crystal bottle. Generally, before the array substrate and the color filter substrate are box aligned, the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal bottle is instilled on the array substrate through a conduit. The center of the bottom of the liquid crystal bottle protrudes toward the direction of the opening. Therefore, the distance from the edge of the bottom to the opening is greater than the distance from the center of the bottom to the opening.
The distance from the edge of the bottom to the opening of the above liquid crystal bottle is greater than that from the center of the bottom to the opening. Therefore, when the operation of instilling the liquid crystal is carried out every time, there is always a lot of liquid crystal remaining in the bottle. At present, the remaining liquid crystal is discarded or collected for recycling, therefore, the one-round utilization ratio of the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal bottle is relatively low.
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a container and a system for containing liquid crystal, which can solve the problem of a low one-round utilization ratio of liquid crystal in a liquid crystal bottle in the related art. The technical solutions are as follows:
In a first aspect, there is provided a container for containing liquid crystal. The container for containing liquid crystal includes a bottle body. The lower part of the bottle body is a concave structure, the bottom surface of the concave structure is a flat surface or a concave surface, and the opening of the concave structure faces to the opening of the bottle body.
In some embodiments, the concave structure is funnel-shaped.
In some embodiments, the bottom surface of the concave surface is a concave surface. The concave structure is formed by the bottle wall and an inward concave bottle bottom, and the surface of the bottle wall is a curve surface.
In some embodiments, the inward concave bottle bottom is a curve surface structure.
In some embodiments, the inward concave bottle bottom is a flat surface structure.
In some embodiments, the bottom surface of the concave structure is a flat surface, and the concave structure is circular truncated cone-shaped.
In some embodiments, a cavity is disposed between the inner wall of the concave structure and the outer wall of the bottle body.
In some embodiments, the wall thicknesses is equal throughout the bottle body.
In some embodiments, the area of the bottom surface of the concave structure is greater than the cross sectional area of the conduit for instilling the liquid crystal.
In some embodiments, the area of the bottom surface of the concave structure is equal to the cross sectional area of the opening.
In some embodiments, the bottle body is made of plastics, metal or glass.
In some embodiments, a support frame is sleeve-connected to the concave structure of the bottle body.
In some embodiments, the support frame is a columnar structure, the columnar structure is provided with a cavity, and one end of the columnar structure is provided with an opening.
In some embodiments, a plurality of locating elements supporting the container for containing liquid crystal are disposed at the opening of the support frame.
In some embodiments, the support frame is made of wood.
In some embodiments, each locating element is made of rubber.
In a second aspect, there is provided a system for containing liquid crystal. The system for containing liquid crystal includes a container for containing liquid crystal and a conduit disposed in the container for containing liquid crystal. The container for containing liquid crystal includes a bottle body. The lower part of the bottle body is a concave structure, the bottom surface of the concave structure is a flat surface or a concave surface, and the opening of the concave structure faces to the opening of the bottle body. Liquid crystal in the container for containing liquid crystal flows out of the container for containing liquid crystal through the conduit.
The technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can include the following advantageous benefits:
A container and a system for containing liquid crystal are provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure. The container for containing liquid crystal includes a bottle body, the lower part of which is a concave structure. The bottom surface of the concave structure is a flat surface or a concave surface. The opening of the concave structure faces to the opening of the bottle body. The concave structure is concave relative to the plane where the opening is located. Compared with the liquid crystal bottle in the related art, when the operation of instilling the liquid crystal is carried out every time, the liquid crystal eventually remaining in the bottle will not accumulate on the edge of the bottom. Therefore, the remaining liquid crystal is less, and the one-round utilization ratio of the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal bottle is increased.
To describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure more clearly, the following briefly introduces the accompanying drawings required for describing the embodiments. Apparently, the accompanying drawings in the following description show merely some embodiments of the present disclosure, and a person of ordinary skill in the art may still derive other drawings from these accompanying drawings without creative efforts.
