A container is described herein. A container presented herein is mainly used for cosmetics. The container may be used for holding not only conventional creams, gels, and powders for face and skin but also creams and gels for hair treatment.
The container has an inner cap inside an outer cap and an inner tub inside an outer tub. The outer cap is larger than the inner cap forming a cap cavity with an upper cap cavity and a surrounding cap cavity between the outer cap and the inner cap. Likewise, the outer tub is larger than the inner tub forming a tub cavity with a lower tub cavity and a surrounding tub cavity between the outer tub and the inner tub.
The container also has a cap ledge and a tub ledge. The outer cap and the inner cap are on the top side of the cap ledge. The outer tub is connected to the inner tub by the tub ledge. The inner cap has a cap wall, and the outer tub or the inner tub has a tub wall. The cap wall and the tub wall are threaded for mating so that the tub ledge and the cap ledge come together to securely hold the outer cap and the outer tub, closing the container.
Applicant believes the upper cap cavity and the surrounding cap cavity should be formed by at least 0.1 inch separation radially between the outer cap and the inner cap. Moreover, Applicant believes the lower tub cavity and the surrounding tub cavity should be formed by at least 0.1 inch separation radially between the outer tub and the inner tub.
One of the benefits of the container described herein is that the cosmetic contained in the container is better protected from temperature variations because there is a cavity surrounding the inner cap and a cavity surrounding the inner tub. Another benefit of the container described herein is the appearance of the container is exquisite and has a luxurious presentation when the outer cap and the outer tub are made of transparent material, and the inner cap and the inner tub are made of opaque material, especially when the inner cap and/or the inner tub are of bright or florescent color. A preferred material for the outer cap and/or outer tub is transparent plastic, tempered glass, or even crystal. A preferred material for the inner cap and/or the inner tub is plastic, tempered glass, crystal, and even metal. Thus, the container promotes the marketability of the cosmetics and enables a higher selling price point.
Variations within the scope of the claims of the container presented herein are possible. One example is the container also designed to have the circumference of the outer tub at the tub ledge gradually reducing to the circumference of the outer tub at the tub bottom so that the circumference of the outer tub at the tub bottom is less than the circumference of the outer tub at the tub ledge.
Another variation of the container has the surrounding cap cavity between the outer cap and the inner cap without the upper cap cavity. Another variation of the container has the surrounding tub cavity without the lower tub cavity.
