Abstract

Several embodiments of the present invention are disclosed. All of the embodiments relate to articles useful for bridal party members. The embodiments include a bride's flower holder with an integral storage compartment, a ring bearer's pillow with integral back pack and a flower girl's flower bouquet with an integral storage compartment.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is directed to the field of containers for members of wedding parties to carry items during a wedding. There are three presently contemplated embodiments of the present invention, The first embodiment is a flower bouquet hag for the bride. The second embodiment is a combination ring bearer's pillow and back pack. The third embodiment is a flower girl's basket/pocketbook.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A container for carrying items for a bridal party member comprising of a generally cylindrical container with a generally cylindrical hollow central portion for the receipt of an enclosure surrounding the generally cylindrical hollow central portion and a zippered opening on the outside of the container for access to the enclosure wherein personal items can be secured in the enclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

The present invention will now be described in terms of the presently preferred embodiments thereof as illustrated in the drawings. Those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that there are many obvious medications that can be made thereto without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention.

The flower bouquet bag 10 of the present invention is illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 3. This embodiment combines a carrying case for various items incorporated with a bouquet carrier.

As shown in FIG. 1, the carrying case is generally cylindrical and incorporates a generally cylindrical hollow central portion 12 for receiving flowers. There is also an enclosure 13 surrounding the generally cylindrical center opening for storing various items. The enclosure is accessed through a zippered opening 14 in the side. The carrier thus holds the Bride's and Bridesmaid's personal items such as the Grooms Ring as well as gum, lip gloss and tissue. No purses or extra baggage will be needed by having all refreshing needs at hand on the beautiful day.

The ring bearer's backpack 20 of the present invention is illustrated in FIGS. 4 through 9. The ring bearer's backpack is a ring bearer's pillow on one side and a backpack on the side opposite to the pillow. The backpack is filled with fun gifts such as a coloring book, crayons, cars and more. The backpack is hidden by a wrap to look like an available ring bearer's pillow on the outside. However, on the other side there is another part to the child's gift for doing a great job.

The flower girls basket/pocketbook 30 of the present invention is illustrated in FIGS. 10 through 12. This embodiment is a Flower Girl Basket and Pocketbook in one item.

The guests during the ceremony will see a traditional flower girls: basket. At the end of the ceremony move the petal bucket and it becomes a gift for the child. There is a pocketbook with a zipper full of goodies such as lip gloss, sun glasses, a personal mirror and jewelry for the flower girl. On the handle there is a removable headband and a thank you personalized keepsake.

Those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that the foregoing merely represents an embodiment of the present invention. Many obvious modifications may be made thereto without departing from the spirit or scope of the present invention as set forth in the appended claims.

Claims

1) A container for carrying items for a bridal party member comprising: a) a generally cylindrical container with a generally cylindrical hollow central portion for the receipt of flowers;b) a enclosure surrounding the generally cylindrical hollow central portion;c) a zippered opening on the outside of the container for access to the enclosure wherein personal items can be secured in the enclosure.

2) A combination ring bearer's pillow and backpack comprising: a) a ring bearer's pillow on the first side of the combination;b) an enclosure on the second side of the combination opposite to the pillow for storage of personal items; andc) a covering on the second side wherein the covering visually appears like a pillow.
