Claims
- 1. A camera comprising:
- a flash device which emits illumination light to illuminate an object;
- a pre-illumination device which emits pre-illumination light to the object plural times, prior to a main emission of said flash device;
- an exposing device operating to expose a film;
- a first counter;
- a second counter; and
- a control device, electrically connected to said pre-illumination device and said exposing device, which controls an interval of the plural emissions from said pre-illumination device by said first counter, and which controls operation of said exposing device by said second counter.
- 2. A camera according to claim 1, wherein said control device controls a time from when a last one of the plural emissions is completed to when operation of said exposing device is started, by said second counter.
- 3. A camera according to claim 1, wherein a predetermined time counted by said first counter is longer than a predetermined time counted by said second counter.
- 4. A camera according to claim 1, wherein said exposing device includes at least one of a stop, a mirror and a shutter.
- 5. A camera according to claim 2, wherein said exposing device includes a stop, a mirror and a shutter, and wherein said stop is operated first after the last pre-illumination of said plural times of pre-illumination, and then the mirror is raised and said shutter is driven.
- 6. A method of controlling a camera having a flash device which emits illumination light to illuminate an object, a pre-illumination device which emits pre-illumination light to the object plural times, prior to emission of illumination light by said flash device, and an exposing device operating to expose a film, wherein an interval of the plural emissions from said pre-illumination device is controlled in accordance with a first period and said operation of said exposing device is controlled in accordance with a second period.
- 7. A camera according to claim 6, wherein said second period determines the time between completion of a last one of said plural emissions and starting of said operation of said exposing device.
- 8. A camera according to claim 6, wherein said first period is longer than said second period.
