Claims
- 1. A control apparatus, comprising:
a first control device, wherein the first control device is capable of controlling one or more of a plurality of at least one of a vehicle system, a vehicle equipment system, a vehicle component, a vehicle device, a vehicle equipment, and a vehicle appliance, of a vehicle, wherein the first control device at least one of generates a first signal and transmits a first signal for controlling the at least one of a vehicle system, a vehicle equipment system, a vehicle component, a vehicle device, a vehicle equipment, and a vehicle appliance, wherein the first control device is located at the vehicle, wherein the first control device at least one of generates the first signal and transmits the first signal in response to a second signal, wherein the second signal is at least one of generated by a second control device and transmitted from a second control device, wherein the second control device is located at a location which is remote from the vehicle, wherein the second signal is transmitted from the second control device to the first control device, and further wherein the second signal is automatically received by the first control device, wherein the second control device at least one of generates the second signal and transmits the second signal in response to a third signal, wherein the third signal is at least one of generated by a third control device and transmitted from a third control device, wherein the third control device is located at a location which is remote from the vehicle and remote from the second control device, wherein the third signal is transmitted from the third control device to the second control device, and further wherein the third signal is automatically received by the second control device, wherein at least one of the first control device and the second control device processes an access code associated with the vehicle to verify that the third control signal is an authorized signal.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the vehicle is at least one a motor vehicle, an automobile, a truck, an airplane, a jet, an aircraft, a helicopter, a boat, a marine vehicle, a train, a subway train, a recreational vehicle, a snowmobile, and a motorcycle.
- 3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein at least one of the first control signal, the second control signal, and the third control signal, contain information for controlling at least one of an operation of the vehicle, a propulsion of the vehicle, a turning of the vehicle, a flight of the vehicle, and a landing of the vehicle.
- 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the second control device is at least one of a server computer and a central processing computer.
- 5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the apparatus is utilized one or over at least one of a telecommunications network, a satellite communications network, a radio frequency communications network, a packet-switched communication network, the Internet, and the World Wide Web.
- 6. A control apparatus, comprising:
a first control device, wherein the first control device at least one of generates a first signal and transmits a first signal for controlling at least one of a vehicle system, a vehicle equipment system, a vehicle component, a vehicle device, a vehicle equipment, and a vehicle appliance, of a vehicle, wherein the first control device is located at a location remote from the vehicle, wherein the first control device at least one of generates the first signal and transmits the first signal in response to a second signal, wherein the second signal is at least one of generated by a second control device and transmitted from a second control device, wherein the second control device is located at a location which is remote from the first control device and remote from the vehicle, wherein the second signal is transmitted from the second control device to the first control device, and further wherein the second signal is automatically received by the first control device, wherein the first signal controls a third control device, wherein the third control device is capable of controlling one or more of a plurality of the at least one of a vehicle system, a vehicle equipment system, a vehicle component, a vehicle device, a vehicle equipment, and a vehicle appliance, wherein the first signal is transmitted from the first control device to the third control device, and further wherein the first signal is automatically received by the third control device, wherein the third control device is located at the vehicle, and further wherein the third control device at least one of generates a third signal and transmits a third signal for controlling the at least one of a vehicle system, a vehicle equipment system, a vehicle component, a vehicle device, a vehicle equipment, and a vehicle appliance, wherein at least one of the first control device and the third control device processes an access code associated with the vehicle to verify that the third control signal is an authorized signal.
- 7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the vehicle is at least one a motor vehicle, an automobile, a truck, an airplane, a jet, an aircraft, a helicopter, a boat, a marine vehicle, a train, a subway train, a recreational vehicle, a snowmobile, and a motorcycle.
- 8. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein at least one of the first control signal, the second control signal, and the third control signal, contain information for controlling at least one of an operation of the vehicle, a propulsion of the vehicle, a turning of the vehicle, a flight of the vehicle, and a landing of the vehicle.
- 9. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first control device is at least one of a server computer and a central processing computer, and further wherein the apparatus is utilized one or over at least one of a telecommunications network, a satellite communications network, a radio frequency communications network, a packet-switched communication network, the Internet, and the World Wide Web.
- 10. A control apparatus, comprising:
a first control device, wherein the first control device is capable of controlling one or more of a plurality of at least one of a premises system, a premises equipment system, a premises component, a premises device, a premises equipment, and a premises appliance, of a premises, wherein the first control device at least one of generates a first signal and transmits a first signal for controlling the at least one of a premises system, a premises equipment system, a premises component, a premises device, a premises equipment, and a premises appliance, wherein the first control device is located at the premises, wherein the first control device at least one of generates the first signal and transmits the first signal in response to a second signal, wherein the second signal is at least one of generated by a second control device and transmitted from a second control device, wherein the second control device is located at a location which is remote from the premises, wherein the second signal is transmitted from the second control device to the first control device, and further wherein the second signal is automatically received by the first control device, wherein the second control device at least one of generates the second signal and transmits the second signal in response to a third signal, wherein the third signal is at least one of generated by a third control device and transmitted from a third control device, wherein the third control device is located at a location which is remote from the premises and remote from the second control device, wherein the third signal is transmitted from the third control device to the second control device, and further wherein the third signal is automatically received by the second control device, wherein at least one of the first control device and the second control device processes an access code associated with the premises to verify that the third control signal is an authorized signal.
- 11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the premises is at least one a home, a residential premises, a commercial premises, and a commercial office.
- 12. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein at least one of the first control signal, the second control signal, and the third control signal, contain information for controlling at least one of the premises and an operation of the premises.
- 13. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the second control device is at least one of a server computer and a central processing computer.
- 14. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the apparatus is utilized one or over at least one of a telecommunications network, a satellite communications network, a radio frequency communications network, a packet-switched communication network, the Internet, and the World Wide Web.
- 15. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the apparatus is utilized in a security application to at least one of control the operation of the vehicle, monitor activity at the vehicle, monitor operation of the vehicle, and provide information regarding a security breach or a security threat at the vehicle.
- 16. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the apparatus is utilized in a security application to at least one of control the operation of the vehicle, monitor activity at the vehicle, and monitor operation of the vehicle, and provide information regarding a security breach or a security threat at the vehicle.
- 17. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the apparatus is utilized in a security application to at least one of control the operation of the premises, monitor activity at the premises, and monitor operation of the premises, and provide information regarding a security breach or a security threat at the premises.
- 18. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the apparatus is utilized in conjunction with a centralized security agency or service or a law enforcement agency or service.
- 19. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the apparatus is utilized in conjunction with a centralized security agency or service or a law enforcement agency or service.
- 20. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the apparatus is utilized in conjunction with a centralized security agency or service or a law enforcement agency or service.
