Claims
- 1. A composition for use in ophthalmologic surgery comprising soluble copolymer micelles comprising an agent selected from the group consisting of miotic agents and mydriatic agents, wherein the micelles comprise a hydrophilic and a hydrophobic portion, and the agent is absorbed into the hydrophobic portion of the copolymer micelle.
- 2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the micelle comprises ethylene oxide-propylene oxide-ethylene oxide block copolymer.
- 3. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the micelle further comprises phenylephrine.
- 4. The composition according to claim 1, which further comprises a viscoelastic polymer.
- 5. A method of maintaining the structural integrity of the anterior chamber of the eye during surgery while concurrently maintaining the desired pupil size comprising administering the composition of claim 1.
