- 6. The bracket of claim 1, wherein the body defines a member-facing surface configured to produce a chamfer on a building member.
- 7. The bracket of claim 1, wherein the body is shaped to resemble one of the group consisting of a triangle, a square, a circle, a rectangle, a trapezoid, a parallelogram, a rhombus, a regular polygon, and an irregular polygon.
- 8. The bracket of claim 1, wherein the leg and the body each comprise a different shape.
- 9. The bracket of claim 1, wherein the leg is one of the group consisting of angled, bent, and curved.
- 10. The bracket of claim 1, wherein the leg and the body are non-symmetrical.
- 11. The bracket of claim 1, wherein the leg converts the metric unit dimensioned panel to the U.S. customary unit dimensioned panel and the body produces a chamfer upon a building member produced with the apparatus.
- 12. The bracket of claim 1, wherein at least one of the leg and the body include apertures that align with apertures within the building member forming apparatus.
- 13. The bracket of claim 1, wherein at least one of the leg and the body include bores or apertures that align with bores or apertures within the building member forming apparatus.
- 14. A conversion corner bracket for use with a building member forming apparatus, the bracket comprising:
a body; and a leg extending from the body, the leg having a predetermined width; wherein the conversion corner bracket is disposed within the apparatus to convert a U.S. customary unit dimensioned panel to a metric unit dimensioned panel.
- 15. A conversion corner bracket for use with a building member forming apparatus, the bracket comprising:
a body; and a leg extending from the body, the leg having a predetermined width; wherein the conversion corner bracket and metric unit dimensioned panels are assembled to form a chamfered building member having U.S. customary unit dimensions.
- 16. The bracket of claim 15, wherein the body is one of the group consisting of a triangle, a square, a circle, a rectangle, a trapezoid, a parallelogram, a rhombus, a regular polygon, and an irregular polygon and the leg is one of the group consisting of curved, bent, and angled.
- 17. A conversion corner bracket for use with a building member forming apparatus having metric unit dimensioned panels, the bracket comprising:
a body configured to chamfer a building member; and a leg extending from the body, the leg having a predetermined width and insertable between the metric unit dimensioned panels; wherein the leg of the conversion corner bracket is inserted between the metric unit dimension panels to convert the metric unit dimensioned panels to U.S. customary unit dimensions such that a U.S. customary unit dimensioned building member is produced by the apparatus.
- 18. A building member forming apparatus comprising:
panels dimensioned in first units; and a conversion corner bracket securable to the panels, the conversion corner bracket including:
a body; and a leg extending from the body, the leg having a predetermined width; wherein a building member dimensioned in second units is formable by the apparatus when the panels dimensioned in the first units and the conversion corner bracket are assembled.
- 19. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein the first units are metric units and the second units are U.S. customary units.
- 20. A method of converting building member panels used in construction projects, the method comprising:
providing a corner assembly that comprises panels, the panels securable to a conversion corner bracket structured to provide a chamfer to a building member; and converting, using the conversion corner bracket, the panels from a metric unit dimension to a U.S. customary unit dimension.
- 21. The method of claim 20, wherein the converting is performed by disposing a leg of the conversion corner bracket between the panels.
- 22. The method claim 20, wherein the corner assembly further comprises a securing mechanism.
- 23. The method of claim 20, wherein the securing mechanism comprises a clamp.
- 24. A method of forming a chamfered building member of a first set of units, the method comprising:
providing a panels of a second set of units and a conversion corner bracket; assembling the panels and the conversion corner bracket thereby forming an orifice of the first set of units; and introducing a construction material into the orifice to form the chamfered building member of the first set of units.
- 25. The method of claim 24, wherein the conversion corner bracket comprises a body and leg.
- 26. The method of claim 25, wherein the leg has a predetermined width, the predetermined width converting the panels from the first set of units to the second set of units.
- 27. The method of claim 26, wherein the chamfered building member comprises a corner chamfered by the body.
- 28. The method of claim 25, wherein the body and the leg are not symmetrical.
- 29. The method of claim 24, wherein the assembling step is performed with at least one of clamps, bolts, or pins.
- 30. The method of claim 24, wherein the leg is disposed between two of the panels that are adjacent to each other.
