1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a cooling fan assembly, and more particularly to a cooling fan assembly for a table playing machine.
2. Description of the Related Art
A conventional cooling fan assembly for a table playing machine comprises a fan and a motor for rotating the fan. In operation, when the fan is rotated by the motor, the ambient air is introduced by the fan to form an air flow which is blown into the table playing machine to push a ball placed above the table playing machine so that the ball is suspended in the air and moved in an irregular manner, thereby enhancing the amusement effect of the table playing machine. However, the motor produces larger vibration and noise during operation, thereby easily causing an uncomfortable sensation to the players. In addition, the fan has a smaller air flow rate, thereby decreasing the amusement effect and the heat dissipation effect of the table playing machine.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a cooling fan assembly having a larger air flow rate and producing smaller vibration and noise.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a cooling fan assembly, wherein the first air guide port of the housing and the second air guide port of the cover co-operate to increase the total air output of the cooling fan assembly, thereby greatly enhancing the air flow rate from the table playing machine.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a cooling fan assembly, wherein the first air guide port of the housing and the second air guide port of the cover increase the air flow rate of the cooling fan assembly, thereby enhancing the heat dissipation effect of the cooling fan assembly.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a cooling fan assembly, wherein the motor is covered by the housing and the cover completely, thereby reducing vibration and noise produced by the motor so that the cooling fan assembly is operated at a state having smaller vibration and noise.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

The cover 4 includes a recessed cover body 41 mounted on the air guide base 35 of the housing 3, and a netted plate 42 mounted on an end face of the cover body 41 to introduce an ambient air into the cover body 41. The cover body 41 of the cover 4 has a shape of the number six (6) and has a peripheral wall formed with a second air guide port 43 juxtaposed to the first air guide port 36 of the air guide base 35 to guide an air flow through the cover body 41 of the cover 4. The second air guide port 43 of the cover body 41 is provided with a plurality of second air gates 431 juxtaposed to the first air gates 361 of the first air guide port 36 to gather the air flow through the second air guide port 43 of the cover body 41. The cover body 41 of the cover 4 has an end portion formed with a plurality of screw bores 44, and the housing 3 further includes a plurality of locking bolts 371 each extended through a respective one of the through holes 37 of the air guide base 35 and screwed into a respective one of the screw bores 44 of the cover body 41 to secure the cover 4 to the air guide base 35 of the housing 3.
The motor 1 includes a motorized body 11 mounted in the housing body 31 of the housing 3, a rotation shaft 14 rotatably mounted on the motorized body 11, two electric wires 15 each mounted on the motorized body 11 and extended through a respective one of the passages 33 of the housing body 31 to connect a power supply (not shown), and a capacitor 16 mounted on the two electric wires 15 and secured in the receiving chamber 32 of the housing body 31 by a locking screw 161. The motorized body 11 of the motor 1 has a periphery formed with a plurality of fixing ears 12 each formed with a through hole 13, and the motor 1 further includes a plurality of locking bolts 17 each extended through the through hole 13 of a respective one of the fixing ears 12 of the motorized body 11 and screwed into a respective one of the screw bores 34 of the housing body 31 to secure the motorized body 11 of the motor 1 to the housing body 31 of the housing 3.
The fan 2 includes a circular recessed rotation body 21 secured on the rotation shaft 14 of the motor 1 to rotate therewith, and a plurality of blades 22 mounted on a peripheral wall of the rotation body 21 and directed toward the first air guide port 36 of the air guide base 35 and the second air guide port 43 of the cover body 41. The rotation body 21 of the fan 2 has an end face formed with a plurality of ribs 23 arranged in a radiating manner and a fixing hole 24 located at a center of the ribs 23. The rotation shaft 14 of the motor 1 is extended through and fixed in the fixing hole 24 of the rotation body 21 by a washer 241 and a snap ring 242 to secure the fan 2 on the rotation shaft 14 of the motor 1.
As shown in
In operation, referring to
Accordingly, the first air guide port 36 of the housing 3 and the second air guide port 43 of the cover 4 co-operate to increase the total air output of the cooling fan assembly, thereby greatly enhancing the air flow rate from the table playing machine 5. In addition, the first air guide port 36 of the housing 3 and the second air guide port 43 of the cover 4 increase the air flow rate of the cooling fan assembly, thereby enhancing the heat dissipation effect of the cooling fan assembly. Further, the motor 1 is covered by the housing 3 and the cover 4 completely, thereby reducing vibration and noise produced by the motor 1 so that the cooling fan assembly is operated at a state having smaller vibration and noise.
