Embodiment: As shown in FIGS. 1-8, a cosmetic applicator head includes mounting portion 10 and application portion 20 that are fixedly connected. The application portion 20 is a columnar structure. Flocked layer 21 is provided on a surface of the application portion 20. A flock in the flocked layer 21 has a fineness of 2.4 D to 3.6 D, and a length of 1.2 mm to 1.8 mm. The applicator head is an integrally injection-molded piece made of a thermoplastic elastomer. In preparation, the thermoplastic elastomer is integrally formed into the applicator head through an injection mold, and then the flocked layer 21 is formed on the surface of the application portion 20 of the applicator head by a flocking process. In use, the applicator head is assembled onto a brush rod through the mounting portion 10. The application portion 20 dips a cosmetic material through the flocked layer 21, and applies the cosmetic material to a makeup site of a user.

For the expression that the flock has the fineness of 2.4 D to 3.6 D, D is the abbreviation of Denier. The Denier is a fixed-length measurement unit for a density of fine silks, artificial fibers and nylon textile fibers, and refers to a mass in grams of a 9,000-meter-long fiber at a given moisture regain. The Denier is a unit of measure for the fineness of the fiber. If the 9,000-m-long fiber has a weight of 600 g, the fiber is called a 600-D fiber. If the 9,000-m-long yarn has a weight of 600 g, the yarn is called a 600-D yarn. The bigger the number, the thicker the yarn or the fiber.

In the present application, the applicator head is made of the thermoplastic elastomer, and the application portion is the columnar structure. The flock has the fineness of 2.4 D to 3.6 D, and the length of 1.2 mm to 1.8 mm. Therefore, in makeup, the applicator head applies the material more uniformly and exquisitely to achieve a better makeup effect.

The flock has the fineness of 2.7 D to 3.3 D. Optionally, the flock has the fineness of 2.4 D, 2.6 D, 2.8 D, 3 D or 3.2 D. Optionally, the flock has the fineness of 3.0 D. The flock has the length of 1.35 mm to 1.65 mm. Optionally, the flock has the length of 1.3 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.6 mm or 1.7 mm. Optionally, the flock has the length of 1.5 mm. In an embodiment, the flock has the fineness of 3.0 D, and the length of 1.5 mm. In this way, the application portion has the most uniform material application, the best makeup effect, and the strong carrying capacity.

The thermoplastic elastomer includes at least one of a TPU, a TPES and a TPEE. Optionally, an applicator is made of the TPEE, the TPU or the TPES.

The applicator head is the integrally injection-molded piece made of a TPEE. The TPEE, also known as polyester rubber, is a type of linear block copolymer containing a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) polyester hard segment and an aliphatic polyester or polyether soft segment. It exhibits good elasticity, excellent ductility, wear resistance, a wide temperature range, and desirable resistance to chemical media, oil, solvent and atmospheric aging, etc.

The TPEE has a density of 0.95 g/cm3 to 1.45 g/cm3, and a Shore hardness of 45 D to 68 D. Optionally, the TPEE has the density of 1.2 g/cm3, and the Shore hardness of 56 D. Optionally, the TPEE has a specification of Hytrel 5553FG of the DuPont.

As shown in FIGS. 2-8, the application portion 20 includes a first end fixedly connected to the mounting portion 10, and a second end being a free end. The second end of the application portion 20 is provided with groove 22. Through the groove, an appropriate capacity of the material can be dipped each time. This improves the material carrying capacity of the applicator head, and reduces the material dipping frequency. The second end of the application portion 20 forms a tip. The tip can be used to sketch a fine line. This improves the makeup efficiency, and expands the use function of the applicator head.

As shown in FIGS. 2-8, the application portion 20 includes a main body portion and a top portion. The main body portion includes a first end fixedly connected to the mounting portion 10, and a second end fixedly connected to the top portion. The main body portion includes a cylindrical structure. The top portion includes at least one of a truncated cone-shaped structure, a conical structure and a spherical structure. The spherical structure may be a spheroidal structure or an ellipsoidal structure. The spherical structure may also be an entirely spherical structure or a partially spherical structure. In the embodiment, the application portion 20 is divided into two portions, one being the main body portion, and the other being the top portion. The main body portion is the cylindrical structure, and is fixedly connected to the mounting portion 10. Optionally, the mounting portion 10 is also a cylindrical structure. The mounting portion 10 is coaxial with the application portion 20. Optionally, the top portion is fixedly connected to the main body portion and is a hemispherical structure. By using the application portion combined with the cylindrical structure and the spherical structure, the applicator head applies the material more uniformly, and has the strong carrying capacity each time.

As shown in FIGS. 2-3, machined oblique plane 23 is provided on the application portion 20. The machined oblique plane 23 is located on the top portion. Alternatively, the machined oblique plane 23 extends from the top portion to the main body portion. An included angle formed between the machined oblique plane and a central axis of the application portion 20 is an acute angle. That is, the application portion 20 is partially cut along the machined oblique plane 23, thereby forming the tip at an end section of the application portion 20. The tip can be used to sketch the fine line. This improves the makeup efficiency, and expands the use function of the applicator head. Optionally, as shown in FIG. 1, orthographic projection of a centerline of the machined oblique plane 23 on the central axis of the application portion 20 has a length of L1, and the application portion 20 has a length of L2. L1/L2 is 32% to 48%. Optionally, L1/L2 is 38% to 42%.

As shown in FIGS. 2-3, the machined oblique plane 23 is recessed toward an interior of the application portion 20 to form the groove 22. The flocked layer 21 is provided on a surface of the groove 22. That is, the application portion 20 is a spoon-like structure. Through the groove in the top portion, an appropriate capacity of the material can be dipped each time. This improves the material carrying capacity of the applicator head, reduces the material dipping frequency, and improves the makeup efficiency.
