An application part of the cosmetic applicator is a coil spring wound around a shaft having a circular cross-section. The coil spring has a helical shape in which polygonal wire loops continue and each of the loops shifts relative to an immediately preceding loop by a predetermined angle. The application part of the cosmetic applicator is indicated by solid lines and is the part for which the design patent is requested, while the parts indicated by broken lines indicate environmental structure that forms no part of the design to be patented.
