The present invention is in the technical field of containers. More particularly, the present invention is in the technical field of cosmetics containers.
Cosmetic containers, also known as makeup bags, are used by individuals and professionals to hold cosmetics, makeup, makeup supplies, accessories, and other tools.
In artistic and entertainment industries such television, film, fashion, etc., that utilize living individuals such as, actors, models, performers, newscasters, etc., makeup and other cosmetics are applied to individuals before an event, performance, or prior to being exposed to a camera, a camcorder, an audience, or the public.
Generally, the cosmetics, makeup, makeup supplies, accessories and tools used to prepare one individual are kept separate and apart from those used to prepare other individuals through the use of cosmetics bags, bins, cases, or other similar containers. These containers are usually labeled using the name of the individual on which the contents are being used to mark on which individual the contents are to be used.
Additionally, it standard for individuals in these artistic industries to distribute 4-inch by 6-inch photographs of themselves, such as headshots or action shots, as a way to promote themselves for job opportunities. Photographs of professionals who receive cosmetic treatment within artistic industries are therefore readily available, and have been for many decades.
The present invention is a cosmetics container wherein a photograph sleeve is affixed to or incorporated into the cosmetics or makeup container so that a photograph may be placed within the pouch or sleeve. The photograph placed within the photograph sleeve helps to identify the individual on which the cosmetics, makeup, makeup supplies, accessories, or tools within the container are being used.
The cosmetics container comprises at least two transparent sides that are opposite from one another so that when a photograph placed in the photograph sleeve affixed to or incorporated into one transparent side of the cosmetics container and the photograph is positioned to face the interior of the cosmetics container, the photograph may be visible through the opposite transparent side.
The photograph sleeve may be made from any material that allows for the contents of the photograph sleeve to be seen from the exterior of the cosmetics container. This material may be transparent, or, this material may be partially opaque if the photograph sleeve is affixed to or incorporated into a transparent surface such that it is visible from the exterior of the cosmetics container.
The photograph sleeve may be affixed to any side of a container, including the interior or exterior surfaces, so long as it is visible from the exterior of the cosmetics container.
The photograph sleeve may even be affixed to the inside of the cosmetics container such that a photograph is visible through at least one transparent side of the cosmetics container.
The photograph sleeve may be used to hold the industry-standard 4-inch by 6-inch photograph, or other photograph sizes, if desired.
