Description
FILED OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a cosmetics container, and more specifically to a cosmetics container with plural pivoting trays in which cosmetics and make-up tools can be housed.

DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART

A cosmetics container such as a compact that houses solid powdery cosmetics such as compressed powder consists of a lower casing for housing cosmetics, and an upper casing of a swing structure that is joined with a hinge on the top of the lower casing so as to open and close the lower casing. In such a cosmetics container the user uses cosmetics that are housed in the lower casing using a make-up tool such as a puffer after the user opens the upper casing.

In cosmetics containers having a swing structure like this, there is also such one in which cosmetics of plural color tones are partitioned in one housing space. But because the conventional cosmetics container has constraints to the space for housing cosmetics due to the surface area of the lower casing, it has a problem that it cannot house cosmetics of various color tones in large quantities.

To solve such a problem, a cosmetics container, in which plural pivoting trays that can house cosmetics of various color tones in large quantities are installed in the casing in such a way that they can be opened and closed, is disclosed in Korean Patent Registration No. 10-0768494 (registered on Oct. 18, 2007) filed and issued to the present applicant. Such a cosmetics container has plural pivoting trays stacked between a top plate and a bottom plate of the casing and is constructed in such a way that they are opened and closed while accessing the inside of the casing by pivoting.

However, such a cosmetics container with pivoting trays is simply constructed in such a way that only the cosmetics are housed in the trays, so it is inconvenient because make-up tools that are necessary when using the cosmetics should be carried separately.

As mentioned above, because make-up tools should be carried in addition to the cosmetics container that houses cosmetics, there is another problem that the user cannot apply make-up in case he or she lost the make-up tools. Also, because various make-up tools are needed when cosmetics of various color tones are used, there is an inconvenience that housing containers for keeping various make-up tools should be carried separately.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a cosmetics container with plural pivoting trays whereby the portability of cosmetics and make-up tools is improved as cosmetics are housed together with make-up tools, the cosmetics housed in the pivoting trays can be easily used, various make-up tools can be easily housed in or taken out from the housing space, and the loss of make-up tools can be prevented by preventing the unintentional release of make-up tools.

In order to achieve the above object of the present invention, there is provided a cosmetics container comprising: a casing which consists of a top plate and a bottom plate of a frame shape making the main body of the cosmetics container and a side plate which is arranged vertically between the top plate and bottom plate and part of which is open; and plural pivoting trays which are arranged in a stack between the top plate and bottom plate of said casing so as to be drawn in and out through the opening of the side plate of said casing, wherein at least one of said pivoting trays is constructed as a housing tray provided with a housing space for housing make-up tools. Therefore, the portability of cosmetics and make-up tools is improved as cosmetics are housed together with make-up tools.

The housing tray for make-up tools of the present invention is a pivoting tray arranged in the lowest part of the plural pivoting trays. So it is possible to easily use the cosmetics housed in the pivoting trays arranged above the housing tray.

The housing space of the cosmetics container according to the present invention is defined by the floor area of the housing tray. Therefore, it is possible to easily house make-up tools in the housing space or take them from it.

The housing tray of the present invention has a fixing part for making the make-up tools immovable in the housing space by fitting in. Therefore, the loss of make-up tools is prevented by preventing the unintentional release of make-up tools.

The housing tray of the present invention has more than one partition for partitioning the housing space so that plural make-up tools can be housed. Therefore, various make-up tools are easily housed.

A magnet is installed in at least one of the housing tray and make-up tools of the present invention. Therefore, the unintentional release of make-up tools is prevented to prevent the loss of make-up tools.

One side of the pivoting tray of the present invention is formed monolithically with a plurality of joint parts which are extended upward and downward and have concave portions or convex portions formed respectively above and below thereof, and the plurality of joint parts form a rotating axis by dint of the concave-convex joining of the joint parts of the pivoting trays adjoining the pivoting trays in a stack and the concave-convex joining of the joint parts of the top plate or bottom plate of the adjoining casing and the pivoting trays. Therefore, each pivoting tray is pivoted centering on the rotating axis to make it possible to move between the first state of being drawn into the casing and the second state of being drawn out of the casing. Therefore, the pivoting trays pivot easily in the casing and the construction of the cosmetics container is made simply.

As mentioned above, the present invention has plural pivoting trays and housing trays to make it possible to house cosmetics together with make-up tools, so it provides an effect that the portability of cosmetics and make-up tools is improved.

The housing tray is installed in the lowest portion of the pivoting trays to make it possible to easily use the cosmetics that are housed in the pivoting trays arranged above it.

The housing space for make-up tools is formed below the housing trays to make it easy to house make-up tools in the housing space and take them out from it.

Since the make-up tools are housed by fitting into the housing tray or by joining by means of a magnet, the unintentional release of make-up tools housed therein is prevented so as to prevent the loss of make-up tools.

A plurality or partitions are formed in the housing tray so as to make it easy to house various make-up tools.

A concave-convex joint part functioning as a rotating axis is formed in plural pivoting trays to make the pivoting in the casing easy and the construction simple.

Below the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a cosmetics container according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken on line A-A of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the opened state of the cosmetics container according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a plan view showing the joined state of a casing and a pivoting tray of the cosmetics container according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a plan view showing the joined state of the casing and a housing tray of the cosmetics container according to one embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a cosmetics container according to one embodiment of the present invention has a casing 10 and plural pivoting trays 20 that are drawn out by pivoting in the casing 10.

The casing 10 consists of a top plate 11 and a bottom plate 13 of frame shape making the main body of the cosmetics container and a side plate 12 arranged vertically between the top plate 11 and bottom plate 13, and part of the side plate is open. More specifically, the casing 10 has its plane in a circular shape and the top plate 11 and bottom plate 13 formed as circular plates are arranged in parallel to each other through the side plate 12 arranged therebetween.

And a concave slot 11a for assembling a mirror 300 or the manufacturer's logo is formed in the central portion of the top plate 11 of the casing 10.

The top plate 11 and the bottom plate 13 of the casing 10 are connected by the side plate 12 that is put up vertically therebetween. The side plate 12 of the casing 10 is formed across about half of the circumference, and the portion where the side plate 12 is not formed makes an opening for plural pivoting trays 20 and housing tray 30 to be drawn in and out. And at one end of the inner circumference of the side plate 12 is formed a catch 12a inward in protrusion.

It is preferable that the top plate 11, the side plate 12 and the bottom plate 13 of the casing 10 are formed monolithically as one member.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the pivoting tray 20 includes a housing portion 21, lever portion 22 and a joint part 23. Between the top plate 11 and bottom plate 13 of the casing 10 are pivotably arranged plural pivoting trays 20 in sequence from the upper part. And the pivoting trays 20 can be drawn in or out through the opening of the side plate 12 of the casing 10.

In each pivoting tray 20 is formed a housing portion 21 for housing the contents 100 of cosmetics. And one side of the region is provided with a joint part 23 and the outer circumference opposite to the joint part 23 is provided with a lever portion 22. On one side of the lever portion 22 is formed an engagement projection 22a outward in protrusion to be engaged with the catch 12a of the side plate 12.

The joint part 23 has a shape of a pin extended upward from the region of one side of the pivoting tray 20. At this time, the top end of the joint part 23 is formed in a protruded convex portion 23a and the bottom end of the joint part 23 is formed in a depressed concave portion 23b.

Since plural pivoting trays 20 are stacked in sequence, the joint part 23 of each pivoting tray 20 is joined concave-convex with the joint part 23 of another adjoining pivoting tray 20. And the joint part 23 of the pivoting tray 20 in the highest portion is contacted with the lower surface of the top plate 11 of the casing 10.

It is preferable that the lever portion 22 and joint part 23 are monolithically formed with the pivoting tray 20, so that the whole of the pivoting trays 20 is formed into one member.

As shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 5, the housing tray 30 is made up of at least one of the pivoting trays 20. And the housing tray 30 is provided with a housing space 31, lever portion 32 and joint part 33 so as to house make-up tools, and is arranged in the opening between the top plate 11 and bottom plate 13 of the casing 10. In addition, the housing tray 30 is installed in such a way that it can be drawn into or out of the casing 10 through the opening of the side plate 12 of the casing 10.

The housing space 31 of the housing tray 30 may house a plurality of make-up tools therein. The housing tray 30 has the joint part 33 on one side thereof and the lever portion 32 on the outer circumference opposite to the joint part 33. On one side of the lever portion 32 is formed the engagement projection 32a outward in protrusion to be engaged with the catch 12a.

The joint part 33 has protruded portions 33a formed respectively at the top end and the bottom end to be joined so as to pivot between the joint part 23 of the pivoting tray 20 in the lowest portion and the top side of the bottom plate 13 of the casing 10.

It is preferable that the lever portion 32 and joint part 33 are formed monolithically with the housing tray 30, so that the whole of the housing 30 is formed as one member.

The housing tray 30 is arranged in the lowest portion of the pivoting trays 20 so as to make it easy to use the cosmetics housed in the pivoting trays 20 arranged above the housing tray 30. And the housing space 31 of the housing tray 30 is defined by the floor area of the housing tray 30 to make it easy to house and take out make-up tools 200 from below the housing space 31.

For the joining of the highest pivoting tray 20 and the lowest housing tray 30 with the casing 10, a top concave portion 11b depressed to match the shape of the protruded portion 23a is formed at a lower surface of the top plate 11 of the casing 10, and a bottom convex portion 13b depressed to match the shape of the protruded portion 33a is formed on the bottom plate 13 of the casing 10. Contrary to this, it is also possible to form a concave portion in the pivoting trays and housing tray and form in the casing a protruded portion that is joined with the concave portion.

Accordingly, a structure, in which plural pivoting trays 20 and a housing tray 30 are joined in sequence through the joint parts 23 of the pivoting trays 20 and the joint part 33 of the housing tray 30 from the top plate 11 of the casing 10 to the bottom plate 13 of the casing 10, is provided.

Therefore, the joined state of the pivoting trays 20 and the housing tray 30 is maintained solidly, and at the same time the joint parts 23 of the pivoting trays 20 and the joint part 33 of the housing tray 30 make a rotating axis in the vertical direction.

Accordingly, each pivoting tray 20 and the housing tray 30 pivot centering on this rotating axis, so that they can move between the first state of being drawn into the casing 10 as shown in FIG. 1 and the second state of being drawn out of the casing 10 as shown in FIG. 3.

The housing space 31, which is a space for housing make-up tools defined by the floor area of the housing tray 30, can be constructed in various shapes as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8.

FIG. 6 is a bottom view showing a housing tray of the cosmetics container with a fixing part according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 7 is a bottom view showing a housing tray of the cosmetics container with a magnet installed therein according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a bottom view showing a housing tray of the cosmetics container with partitions according to one embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 6, the housing tray 30 has a fixing part for making the make-up tool 200 immovable in the housing space 31 by fitting in. Such a fixing part has fitting slots 31a formed at both ends so that the protrusions 201 formed in both end portions of the make-up tool 200 can be fitted in. Contrary to this, it is also possible to form the protrusions on the housing tray 30 and form the fitting slots on the make-up tool 200.

And as another fixing part, it is also possible to form in the housing tray 30 an inner wall of the same size as the external size of the make-up tool 200 and fit the outer frame of the make-up tool 200 in this inner wall to make the make-up tool 200 immovable.

Also, it is obviously possible to fix the make-up tool 200 by forming a catch of a ring shape in the position of the fitting slot 31a of the housing tray 30 and fitting in the outer frame of the make-up tool 200 by means of the catch.

Accordingly, the make-up tool 200 is made immovable in the housing space 31 of the housing tray 30 by the fitting-in with the fixing part, so it is possible to house the make-up tool 200 in the housing tray 30.

As shown in FIG. 7, it is also possible to install magnets on both sides by installing a magnet 31b in the housing tray 30 and a magnet 202 also in the make-up tool 200, or to install a magnet in one of these and make the other of magnetic material like steel. So the make-up tool 200 is made immovable in the housing space 31 by the magnet 202 to make it possible to house the make-up tool 200 in the housing space 31 of the housing tray 30.

As such make-up tools 200, brushes such as a multi brush, lip brush and cheek touch brush can be employed, and it is obviously possible to employ various make-up tools besides them.

As shown in FIG. 8, the housing tray 30 is provided with more than one partition 31c that partition the housing space 31 for plural make-up tools to be housed separately. As make-up tools housed in such a housing space 31, various make-up tools such as the multi brush 210, sponge tip brush 220 and lip brush 230 can be employed.

Also, a magnet can be installed in such a make-up tool, so for example, by dint of the magnet 211 formed on the multi brush 210, the magnet 221 formed on the sponge tip brush 220, the magnet 231 formed on the lip brush 230, and the plural magnets 31b formed in the housing space 31, these make-up tools can be housed in the housing space 31.

Therefore, the cosmetics container of the present embodiment has portability improved without the need to carry cosmetics and make-up tools separately, because various cosmetics are housed in plural pivoting trays 20 and various make-up tools are housed in the housing tray 30 below them, and cosmetics of various color tones and make-up tools are housed in one casing 10, and because make-up tools are housed in combination in the housing tray, the loss of make-up tools can be prevented.

While the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the related art that various modifications and variations may be made therein without departing from the scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims.
