Claims
- 1. Apparatus for protecting a fluid conveying device in fluid communication with valves and piping upstream and downstream of the device comprising:a support having an open area permitting the upstream and downstream piping to extend therethrough, said support having at least one support opening; a cover constructed for placement upon said support, said cover having at least one cover opening; and a detachable rod to releasably engage said cover to said support through the at least one support opening and the at least one cover opening, wherein said rod detachably passes through the at least one support opening and the at least one cover opening to retain said cover to said support.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a heater.
- 3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said support and said cover are adapted to form a mating engagement.
- 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said support further comprises a horizontal extending member to facilitate retention of said support in position.
- 5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said support and said cover are constructed of plastic.
- 6. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a locking plate to affix said support to the piping.
- 7. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a drain channel.
- 8. The apparatus of claim 7, further comprising a valve disposed in said drain channel.
- 9. The apparatus of claim 7, further comprising a plurality of valves disposed in said drain channel.
