DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 8 thereof, a new exercise harness device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 8, the craning exercise harness assembly and method 10 generally comprises a frame 12. The frame 12 is configured for being positioned upon a treadmill 14. The frame 12 is a metal material 16 being configured for being able to support a weight of a range of users, such as steel. The frame 12 has a pair of feet 18 being configured for being positioned proximate to a respective one of a pair of sides 20 of the treadmill 14. Additionally, a pair of beams 22 protrudes out from a respective one of the pair of feet 18 such that the pair of beams 22 is positioned upright relative to the treadmill 14. Each of the beams 22 has an end 24 where a support 26 is positioned. The support 26 is positioned between each of the beams 22 and is positioned perpendicular relative to the pair of beams 22.

A harness 28 is configured for enwrapping a torso 30 of a user 32. The harness 28 includes a top edge 34 and a bottom edge 36 wherein the top edge 34 of the harness 28 is configured for positioning proximate relative to a chest 38 of the user 32. In addition, the harness 28 includes a first end 40, a second end 42, an interior surface 44, and an exterior surface 46. The interior surface 44 is configured for abutting the torso 30 of the user 32. Furthermore, the exterior surface 46 is a hook material 48 and the interior surface 44 is a loop material 50. The hook material 48 is complementary to the loop material 50, wherein the interior surface 44 of the first end 40 is configured for engaging by hook and loop fastening to the exterior surface 46 of the second end 42.

A pair of belts 52 is enwrapped upon the exterior surface 46 of the harness 28. Each of the belts 52 have a buckle snap lock 54 being configured for adjusting a length of each of the belts 52 wherein enclosing a diameter of each of the belts 52 about the harness 28. The pair of belts 52 is configured for securing the harness 28 around the torso 30 of the user 32. Furthermore, a pair of straps 56 is positioned upon the support 26 of the frame 12. Each of the straps 56 has a pair of ends 58 being coupled to the top edge 34 of the harness 28. Additionally, each of the straps 56 has a buckle 60 being an adjustment mechanism for a height of each of the straps 56. The buckle 60 of each of the straps 56 is configured for adjusting the height wherein hoisting the user 32 from the treadmill 14.

An alternate embodiment 62 of the craning treadmill attachment assembly 10 comprises each of the beams 22 having a top portion 64 and a bottom portion 66 wherein the top portion 64 is nested within the bottom portion 66. The top portion 64 has a plurality of holes 68 and the bottom portion 66 has an aperture 70 being complementary to each of the holes 68 of the top portion 64. A pin 72 is nested within the aperture 70 and the plurality of holes 68 of each of the beams 22 wherein retaining the top portion 64 in a fixed position relative to the bottom portion 66.

In use, the user 32 enwraps the harness 28 around the torso 30 prior to securing the harness 28 around the torso 30 using the buckle snap lock 54 of each of the belts 52. Subsequently, the user 32 hoists the torso 30 from the support 26 of the frame 12 using the pair of straps 56 of the harness 28 prior to performing cardio exercise on the treadmill 14. The user 32 can adjust the height each of the straps 56 using the buckle 60 wherein unloading weight from a pair of legs 74 of the user 32.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
