Claims
- 1. A method of creating a transactional application having dynamic Web pages, comprising:
running a wizard while creating the transactional application; tracking, by the wizard, the interdependencies of the Web pages of the application; tracking, by the wizard, each data access required for any given Web page; and tracking, by the wizard, rules for handling a different sequence of Web pages based upon differing aspects of user input to be received.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the transactional application requires at least one of a database access and a dynamic presentation order of pages.
- 3. The method of claim 1 wherein the interdependencies are tracked by utilizing an XML list.
- 4. A computer system having means for creating a transactional application having dynamic Web pages, comprising:
means for running a wizard while creating the transactional application; means for tracking, by the wizard, the interdependencies of the Web pages of the application; means for tracking, by the wizard, each data access required for any given Web page; and means for tracking, by the wizard, rules for handling a different sequence of Web pages based upon differing aspects of user input to be received.
- 5. The computer system of claim 4 wherein the transactional application requires at least one of a database access and a dynamic presentation order of pages.
- 6. A computer system comprising:
a bus system; a memory connected to the bus system, wherein the memory includes a set of instructions; and a processing unit connected to the bus system, wherein the processing unit executes the set of instructions to create a transactional application by running a wizard while creating the transactional application; wherein the wizard tracks the interdependencies of the Web pages of the application, each data access required for any given Web page, and rules for handling a different sequence of Web pages based upon differing aspects of user input to be received.
- 7. A computer program on a computer usable medium having computer readable program code means for creating a transactional application having dynamic Web pages, comprising:
means for running a wizard while creating the transactional application; means for tracking, by the wizard, the interdependencies of the Web pages of the application; means for tracking, by the wizard, each data access required for any given Web page; and means for tracking, by the wizard, rules for handling a different sequence of Web pages based upon differing aspects of user input to be received.
