- 1. Crystalline deoxyspergualin trihydrochloride.
- 2. Crystalline deoxyspergualin trihydrochloride as in claim 1, wherein it is in the form of .alpha.-form crystals or .beta.-form crystals.
- 3. .alpha.-form crystals of deoxyspergualin trihydrochloride having an X-ray powder diffraction pattern substantially as follows:

- 5. A process for the preparation of .beta.-form crystals of deoxyspergualin trihydrochloride, which comprises crystallizing powder or water-suspension syrup of deoxyspergualin trihydrochloride in the presence of ethanol, the concentration of the ethanol in the crystallization system being 85 to 99.5% (v/v).
