Claims
- 1. A crystalline porous tectosilicate composition characterized as combining mordenite sheets with mazzite or `omega` sheets, having orthorhombic unit cell parameters of 7.3.ANG. (.+-.0.2), 18.1.ANG.(.+-.0.3) and sum combinations of 10.6.ANG. (.+-.0.2) and 15.6.ANG.(.+-.0.3).
- 2. The composition of claim 1 having compositions in the anhydrous form in the range
- 1.0.+-.0.2 M.sub.2/N O:Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 :.times.SiO.sub.2
- where M represents a cation of groups 1A and 2A of the periodic table and an alkylammonium ion of the group E.sub.2, M.sub.2, P.sub.2 M.sub.2, E.sub.3, M, E M.sub.3, P.sub.3 M and PM.sub.3, N is the valence of said cation, and X is at least 5.
- 3. The composition of claim 1 which is further characterized by the formula:
- 1.0.+-.0.2 M.sub.2/N O:Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 :5 to 500 SiO.sub.2 where M is a cation and N the valence of said cation
- 4. The composition of claim 1 intergrown or overgrown with mazzite, mordenite and/or ECR-1
- 5. The composition of claim 2 wherein M is predominantly hydrogen.
- 6. The composition of claim 3 wherein M is predominantly hydrogen.
- 7. The composition of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 Z.sub.1.
- 8. The composition of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 O.sub.1.
- 9. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.2 O.sub.2.
- 10. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 Z.sub.1 Z.sub.1.
- 11. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.2 Z.sub.1 Z.sub.2.
- 12. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.2 Z.sub.2.
- 13. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.1 Z.sub.1.
- 14. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.2 Z.sub.2.
- 15. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 O.sub.2 O.sub.1.
- 16. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.2 O.sub.2 O.sub.2.
- 17. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.1 O.sub.1.
- 18. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.2 O.sub.2.
- 19. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.1 Z.sub.1 Z.sub.1.
- 20. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.2 Z.sub.1 Z.sub.2.
- 21. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.1 O.sub.2 O.sub.1.
- 22. The crystalline porous tectosilicate of claim 1 having the configuration D.sub.1 D.sub.2 O.sub.2 O.sub.2.
- 23. A crystalline porous tectosilicate composition comprising ECR-1 and one or more of intergrown or overgrown structures of mordenite sheets with mazzite or `omega` sheets or both, having orthorhombic unit cell parameters of 7.3 .ANG.(.+-.0.2), 18.1.ANG.(.+-.0.3) and sum combinations of 10.6 .ANG.(.+-.0.2) and 15.6 .ANG.(.+-.0.3), and optionally mazzite or mordenite.
