Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a cup having a lid separation prevention function, and more particularly, to a cup having a function of preventing a lid from being separated from a cup opening.

BACKGROUND ART

Disposable cups for holding cold drinks, such as coffee and juice, are made of various materials. Thereamong, or paper is mainly used as material to manufacture disposable cups.

A disposable cup is provided with a lid for covering an opening formed on the upper side of the cup. Due to the presence of such a lid, inflow of foreign substances into the cup is prevented, or contents contained the cup are prevented from overflowing the cup due to shaking.

Meanwhile, after contents of a drink or the like are contained inside a cup, a sealing part is formed by applying heat and pressure around the opening of the cup to completely block the inside of the cup from the outside. Thereby, the opening of the cup is completely sealed. After formation of the sealing part, the sealing part is covered with a lid.

In most cases, a user inserts a straw into a hole formed in a lid and penetrates sealing part with the straw without removing the lid to drink a beverage in a cup.

In the case conventional disposable cups, to maintain the freshness of contents contained in the cup, or to cool or freeze the contents, the cups are transported frozen and/or refrigerated, or the cups are frozen and/or refrigerated at stores. When the disposable cup is frozen and/or refrigerated, gas remaining inside the cup is condensed, which shrinks or deforms a sealing part around the center of the sealing part.

Referring to FIG. 2, as a sealing part 1 shrinks, a cup opening 2 shrinks, so that a lid 3 and the cup opening 2 are not in close contact with each other and a gap is generated between the outer edge of the cup and the lid 3. Accordingly, when stacking or moving the cup during storage, the lid 3 may be easily separated from the cup even with slight impact.

That is, since a diameter D2 of the cup opening 2 after shrinking is smaller than a diameter D1 of the cup opening 2 before shrinking, the lid 3 and the cup opening are not in close contact with each other, and a predetermined gap is generated between the cup opening 2 and the lid 3. Consequently, the lid 3 may be easily separated from the cup.

DISCLOSURE
Technical Problem

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and it is one object of the present invention to provide a cup having a lid separation prevention function. When a cup containing a beverage is sealed (vacuum packaging) and displayed in a freezer or refrigerator, as gas inside the cup is condensed due to low temperature, the sealing part of the cup shrinks and the opening of the cup shrinks at the same time. As a result, a gap is generated between the cup and the lid of the cup. Accordingly, when a consumer grabs the lid and takes the cup out of a shelf, or when a manager stacks the cup for display, the lid may be easily separated from the cup. However, the cup having a lid separation prevention function according to the present invention may prevent a lid from being separated from the cup in the above-described situation.

Technical Solution

In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, provided is cup having a lid separation prevention function including a cup body responsible for containing contents and provided with a sealing part for sealing; a lid positioned at an upper end of the cup body to cover the sealing part; a cup fastening part formed to extend from a top of the cup body and configured to fix a position of the lid; and a lid separation preventing part formed to extend downward from the cup fastening part and configured to prevent the lid from being separated due to deformation of the cup fastening part due to internal shrinkage of the cup body.

In this case, the position of the lid separation preventing part is changed by a predetermined angle due to deformation of the cup fastening part due to internal shrinkage of the cup body to prevent the lid from being separated from the cup fastening part.

When a phenomenon that an outermost diameter of the cup fastening part with respect to the lid is narrowed due deformation of the cup fastening part occurs, a position of the lid separation preventing part may be changed by a predetermined angle to alleviate the phenomenon.

When the cup fastening part of a cup opening including the cup fastening part is deformed, an angle of the lid separation preventing part may be changed so that a diameter (D2) of an outermost portion of the cup opening after shrinking corresponds to a diameter (D1) of an outermost portion of the cup opening before shrinking.

The cup fastening part may be provided in a flange shape at an upper end of the cup, and the lid separation preventing part may be formed to extend downward from an outer circumferential end of the flange-shaped cup fastening part. In this case, the lid separation preventing part may be configured to be perpendicular to the cup fastening part, and may include an outer circumferential surface contacting an inner circumferential surface of the lid and an inner circumferential surface formed to be inclined with respect to the outer circumferential surface.

In addition, by the presence of the outer circumferential surface and the inner circumferential surface, an edge may be formed at lower portion of the lid separation preventing part. As an end of the lid separation preventing part widens outward of the cup, a diameter (D1) of an outermost portion of the cup opening before shrinking and a diameter (D2) of an outermost portion of the cup opening after shrinking become equal to each other, and contact between the lid separation preventing part and the lid is maintained so that the lid may be prevented from being separated from an upper end of the cup.

Advantageous Effects

As apparent from the foregoing, the present invention advantageously provides a cup having a lid separation prevention function. Accordingly, when a consumer grabs the lid and takes the cup out of a shelf, the lid may be easily separated from the cup. However, the cup having a lid separation prevention function according to the present invention may prevent a lid from being separated from the cup in the above-described situation. In addition, by providing a lid separation preventing part formed to protrude toward the lower portion of a cup fastening part, when the opening of the cup shrinks, the lid separation preventing part rises by a certain angle so that the circumference of the cup opening after shrinking is the same as the circumference of the cup opening before shrinking, thereby preventing the lid from being separated from the cup.

BEST MODE

When a cup containing a beverage is sealed (vacuum packaging) and displayed in a freezer or refrigerator, as the inside of the cup under vacuum shrinks due to low temperature, a sealing part for blocking the inside of the cup from the outside shrinks and the opening of the cup shrinks at the same time. As result, the outer circumferential surface of the cup opening is lifted, and a gap is generated between the cup opening and the lid of the cup. Accordingly, when the cup is handled, the lid may be easily separated from the cup. The present invention is explained in view of this situation.

Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, the cup having a lid separation prevention function according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a cup body 10 responsible for containing contents and provided with a sealing part 11 for sealing, a lid 20 positioned at the upper end of the cup body 10 to cover the sealing part 11, a cup fastening part 30 formed to extend from the top of the cup body 10 and configured to fix the position of the lid 20, and a lid separation preventing part 40 formed to extend downward from the cup fastening part 30 and configured to prevent the lid 20 from being separated due deformation of the cup fastening part 30 due to internal shrinkage of the cup body 10.

The lid separation preventing part 40 is configured that the position of the lid separation preventing part 40 is changed by predetermined angle due to deformation of the cup fastening part 30 due to internal shrinkage of the cup body 10 to prevent the lid 20 from being separated from the cup fastening part 30.

In the cup having a lid separation prevention function according to an embodiment of the present invention, due to the presence of the lid separation preventing part 40 integrally formed with the lid 20 so as to extend from the cup fastening part 30, even when coupling between the cup fastening part 30 and the lid 20 becomes loose or a gap is generated between the cup fastening part 30 and the lid 20 due to internal shrinkage of the cup, the cup fastening part 30 and the lid 20 may remain engaged.

The cup fastening part 30 is provided in a flange shape at the upper end of the cup, and the lid separation preventing part 40 is formed to extend downward from the outer circumferential end of the flange-shaped cup fastening part 30.

The lid separation preventing part 40 is configured to extends in a downward direction and to be substantially perpendicular to the cup fastening part 30, and includes an outer circumferential surface 41 contacting an inner circumferential surface 43 of the lid 20 and an inner circumferential surface 42 formed to be inclined with respect to the outer circumferential surface 41. By the configuration of the outer and inner circumferential surfaces 41 and 42, an edge 45 is formed at a lower portion of the lid separation preventing part 40.

When the outer circumferential surface of the cup fastening part 30 is deformed, the upper end of the cup is shrunk, and the diameter of the cup fastening part 30 is shrunk. Thereby, the position of the lid separation preventing part 40 rises upwardly by a certain angle.

As the edge 45 at the lower portion of the cup fastening part 30 rotates, the lid 20 and the lid separation preventing part 40 extending from the cup fastening part 30 contact the inner circumferential surface 43 the lid 20. Accordingly, the coupling between the upper end of the cup and the lid 20 may be prevented from being loosened, or a gap may be prevented from being generated between the upper end of the cup and the lid 20, and the cup and the lid 20 may remain engaged.

In an embodiment of the present invention, when phenomenon that the outermost diameter of the cup fastening part 30 with respect to the lid 20 is narrowed due to deformation of the cup fastening part 30 occurs, the position of the lid separation preventing part 40 is changed by a predetermined angle, which compensates for shrinkage of the outer diameter of the top of the cup.

In this case, when the cup fastening part 30 of the cup opening including the cup fastening part 30 is deformed, the angle of the lid separation preventing part 40 is changed so that the diameter D2 of the outermost portion of the cup opening after shrinking corresponds to the diameter D1 of the outermost portion of the cup opening before shrinking. At this time, as the lid separation preventing part 40 is substantially spread outward, a phenomenon that the outer diameter of the top of the cup decreases is prevented.

In the cup having a lid separation prevention function according to an embodiment of tree present invention, as the end of the lid separation preventing part 40 widens outward of the cup, the diameter D1of the outermost portion of the cup opening before shrinking and the diameter D2 of the outermost portion of the cup opening after shrinking become almost equal to each other, and contact between the lid separation preventing part 40 and the lid 20 is maintained. As a result, the lid 20 is prevented from being separated from the upper end of the cup.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a cup having a lid separation prevention function may be provided. When a cup containing a beverage is sealed (vacuum packaging) and displayed in a freezer or refrigerator, as the inside of the cup under vacuum shrinks due to low temperature, the sealing part 11 shrinks and the opening of the cup shrinks at the same time. As a result, a gap is generated between the cup opening and the lid 20. Accordingly, when a consumer grabs the lid 20 and takes the cup out of a shelf, or when a manager stacks of handles the cup for display, the cup of the present invention may prevent the lid 20 from being separated from the cup.

According to the present invention, since the lid separation preventing part 40 protruding toward a lower portion of the cup fastening part 30 is provided, when the cup opening is shrunk, the lid separation preventing part 40 rises by a certain angle, and a circumference before shrinking and a circumference after shrinking became the same. Accordingly, the lid 20 may be prevented from being separated.

Hereinafter, operation of the lid separation preventing part of the cup having a lid separation prevention function according to an embodiment of the present invention will be further described. Referring to FIG. 3, after putting a beverage inside a cup, when the cup is frozen or refrigerated, the cup shrinks as the internal pressure of the cup decreases. Referring to FIG. 4, as the internal pressure of the cup changes according to temperature, the inside of the cup shrinks and the sealing part 11 blocking a cup opening also shrinks toward the inside of the cup. As a result, the sealing part 11 pulls the cup fastening part 30 toward the inside of the cup, thereby causing the cup opening to shrink.

Referring to FIGS, 3 and 4, when the cup fastening part 30 rises a predetermined angle from bending point P1 where the cup fastening part 30 is bent at the cup body 10, the lid separation preventing part 40 formed by bending downward from the cup fastening part 30 also rises upward.

Accordingly, as the end of the lid separation preventing part 40 widens outward of the cup, the diameter D1 of the outermost portion of the cup opening before shrinking and the diameter D2 of the outermost portion the cup opening after shrinking become almost equal to each other, and contact between the lid separation preventing part and the lid 20 is maintained. As a result, the lid 20 is prevented from being separated from the upper end of the cup.

By forming the lid separation preventing part 40 to protrude toward a lower portion of the cup fastening part 30 as described above, when the cup opening shrinks, the lid separation preventing part 40 rises by a certain angle, and the circumference of the cup opening after shrinking becomes equal to the circumference of the cup opening before shrinking. Thus, generation of a gap between the lid 20 and the top of the cup may be prevented.
