Claims
- 1. An alternating aliphatic polyketone cured by exposure to high energy radiation in the substantial absence of oxygen.
- 2. The cured alternating aliphatic polyketone of claim 1 having a Mw 10% greater than that of the polyketone from which it was formed.
- 3. The cured alternating aliphatic polyketone of claim 1 having a Mw 100% greater than that of the polyketone from which it was formed.
- 4. The cured alternating aliphatic polyketone of claim 1 having a Mw of at least about 87,500.
- 5. The cured alternating aliphatic polyketone of claim 1 having a Mw of at least about 150,000.
- 6. The cured alternating aliphatic polyketone of claim 1 further comprising stabilizer.
- 7. The cured alternating aliphatic polyketone of claim 1 which does not exhibit an increase in visible fluorescence upon exposure to light from a mercury vapor lamp relative to the polyketone polymer from which said composition was made.
- 8. The cured alternating aliphatic polyketone of claim 1 which does not exhibit an increase in emitted light at 490 nm upon exposure to 400 nm relative to the polyketone polymer from which said composition was made.
- 9. A cured alternating aliphatic polyketone made by exposing linear alternating aliphatic polyketone polymer to high energy radiation in the substantial absence of oxygen until said polymer undergoes crosslinking reactions.
