1. Field of the Invention
This invention provides an aid, more particularly of the type commonly called a currency bundling aid.
2. Description of Related Art including Information Disclosed wider 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98
A bundle of currency consists of 1,000 notes of the same denomination in ten equal straps of 100 notes each. The bundle must not contain mixed denominations. Straps must be bound together, for example, with two tight-fitting rubber bands, such that the straps are securely held together but not so tight as to cause damage to the notes.
The Federal Reserve Banks require Member Banks to bundle their shipments of currency when shipping ten straps of currency in a certain denomination. This is awkward procedure to do with one person as the bundle created is large and securing a rubber band to both ends of die bundle is difficult as currency should be straight, and all comers and edges should be aligned. This aid would hold a bundle of currency in preparation for securing the straps of currency together.
This Invention will help solve the problem in keeping the bundle together temporarily while the rubber bands are added to keep the bundle securely together. The aid would then slip away from the bundle after the rubber bauds are affixed.
The detailed description set forth, below is intended as a description of the aid and is not intended to represent the only forms in which the invention may be prepared or utilized. It is to be understood, rather, that the same or equivalent functions may be accomplished by different embodiments that are also intended to be encompassed within the spirit and scope of the invention.
