Abstract
A thin piece of clear plastic an eighth inch thick by nine inches high and eighteen inches wide with rounded off edges to hold music or documents.
Description

There is an overwhelming need for Band Directors and musicians who play outdoor music events to have a way to read music without it blowing around and off of a music stand. Many people use rocks, keys, and clothes pins to prevent music or documents from blowing away while trying to read them outdoors (even in a light wind). Some music stands have wires that help to hold music but they are usually unsuccessful. It is also hard to read music with something lying on top of it.

My invention can be placed on any music stand and since it is clear, music and documents can be read easily while being guarded from wind or rain.

Claims
  • 1. A clear plastic guard against the elements for music stands and podiums one inch thick by nine inches high by eighteen inches wide with rounded off edges to lay flat on a standard music stand or podium.
  • 2. Provides hands free protection from the elements, allowing unencumbered performances or speeches.
