DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention will be further described below in details by embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the deck chair of the embodiment of the present invention comprises a seat 1 having two opposite sides, two handrails 3, a back 2 arranged behind the seat 1 and located between the two handrails 3, a footrest 4 arranged in front of the seat 1 and lower than a height of the seat 1 and two arc-shaped support bars 5 arranged beneath the seat 1. Each handrail 3 is arranged on one of the two opposite sides of the seat 1. The back 2 is rotatable relative to the seat 1, and the footrest 4 is movable and is capable of extending back and forth relative to the seat 1.

As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, an angle adjustment mechanism 7 is disposed between the seat 1 and the back 2, and the angle adjustment mechanism 7 comprises a first connecting member 71, a second connecting member 72, a bolt 74 and a pressure plate 73.

One end of the first connecting member 71 is connected to the seat 1 and another end of the first connecting member 71 has an accommodating chamber 711; one end of the second connecting member 72 is connected to the back 2 and another end of the second connecting member 72 forms a rotating portion 721; a periphery of the rotating portion 721 has ratchet teeth 722 which are rotatably arranged in the accommodating chamber 711 of the first connecting member 71 by a rotating shaft 75 passing through a hole in the rotating portion 721 of the second connecting member 72.

The bolt 74 is elastically arranged in the accommodating chamber 711 of the first connecting member 71 and cooperates with the ratchet teeth 722 to limit the second connecting member 72; the bolt 74 is rotatably arranged in the accommodating chamber 711 of the first connecting member 71 through a shaft pin 77, a torsion spring 76 is sleeved on the shaft pin 77 so that the bolt 74 is elastic.

The pressure plate 73 is arranged in the rotating portion 721 of the second connecting member 72 and rotates with the rotating portion 721, when the pressure plate 73 is in a rotating state, the pressure plate 73 resists against the bolt 74 so that the bolt 74 releases the ratchet teeth 722.

The pressure plate 73 has an end portion 731, and the pressure plate 73 releases resistance against the bolt 74 after the end portion 731 passes over the bolt 74. Thus, the back can be opened to the maximum angle.

In an initial state, the bolt 74 cooperates with the ratchet teeth 722, and the first connecting member 71 and the second connecting member 72 are connected and positioned, so that the angle between the back 2 and the seat 1 is fixed. When it is necessary to adjust the back 2 and the seat 1 to a reduced angle, the back 2 is tilted forward, the back 2 drives the second connecting member 72 and the pressure plate 3 to rotate, and the pressure plate 3 resists against the bolt 74 so that the bolt releases the ratchet teeth 722. After it is adjusted to a certain angle, the back 2 is released, and the bolt 74 is reset under the action of the torsion spring to block the ratchet teeth 722.

When it is necessary to adjust the back 2 and the seat 1 to an increased angle, after the tail end of the pressure plate 3 passes over the bolt 74, the angle between the back 2 and the seat 1 can be adjusted to maximum and then adjusted to an appropriate angle according to the operation of reducing the angle described before.

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 4, the footrest 4 according to the embodiment of the present invention is connected to each support bar 5 through two connecting rod mechanisms 6, each connecting rod mechanism 6 comprises a connecting sheet 63, a first connecting rod 61, a guide sheet 64 and a second connecting rod 62. The connecting sheet 63 is arranged on one side of the support bar 5. The bottom end of the first connecting rod 61 is movably connected to the front end of the connecting sheet 63 and the top end of the first connecting rod 61 is movably connected to the footrest 4. The guide plate 64 is arranged at the rear end of the side plate 41 on the bottom of the footrest 4 and has a guide slot 65. The bottom end of the second connecting rod 62 is movably connected to the rear end of the connecting sheet 63, and the top end of the second connecting rod 62 is arranged in the guide slot 65 of the guide sheet 64.
