Claims
- 1. A decorated panel comprising:
a structural core comprising a fiber layer, including continuous strands, that have been impregnated with a synthetic resin composition and cured; at least one side of said core having multiple layers bonded to the synthetic resin composition of the core by cross-linking or lamination; a first layer of said multiple layers comprising a reflective film; a second layer of said multiple layers containing images, text, or other decorations printed in ink of any color; said first layer being closer to the core than said second layer; and the outermost layer on at least one side of the core having a thickness sufficient to provide protection from scratches, cuts, and impacts thereto.
- 2. The decorated panel of claim 1, further including a fiber-reinforced plastic film positioned external to said second layer.
- 3. The decorated panel of claim 1, wherein a net of natural or synthetic material is incorporated into the core so as to alter the characteristics of stiffness or plasticity of the panel.
- 4. The decorated panel of claim 1, wherein a layer of adhesive resin is located between at least two of the layers of the panel.
- 5. The decorated panel of claim 1, wherein at least one of said layers comprises a plastic film.
- 6. The decorated panel of claim 5, wherein all of said layers comprise a plastic film.
- 7. The decorated panel of claim 5, wherein at least one of said layers comprises a natural or synthetic fiber, a natural or synthetic textile material, or a paper made of natural or synthetic material.
- 8. The decorated panel of claim 1, wherein all of said layers are transparent.
- 9. The decorated panel of claim 1, wherein all of said layers on at least one side of said core are transparent.
- 10. The decorated panel of claim 1, wherein all of said layers but one are transparent.
- 11. The decorated panel of claim 1, wherein said multiple layers are bonded to only one side of said core, and the other side of said core has bonded thereto a linking film, the side of the linking film remote from the core being coated with a layer of adhesive resin and a release liner, thereby enabling the panel to be bonded onto any compatible surface.
- 12. A decorated panel comprising:
a structural core comprising a fiber layer, including continuous strands, that have been impregnated with a synthetic resin composition and cured; at least one side of said core having a polyvalent film bonded to the core; said polyvalent film comprising a single plastic film, said film comprising a plurality of layers of resin, each resin layer performing one or more of the functions of linking, printing, and finishing.
- 13. The decorated panel of claim 12, wherein said polyvalent film is bonded to only one side of said core, and the other side of said core has bonded thereto a linking film, the side of the linking film remote from the core being coated with a layer of adhesive resin and a release liner, thereby enabling the panel to be bonded onto any compatible surface.
- 14. A decorated panel comprising:
a structural core comprising a fiber layer, including continuous strands, that have been impregnated with a synthetic resin composition and cured; at least one side of said core having at least one plastic film bonded to the synthetic resin composition of the core by cross-linking or lamination; at least one of said at least one plastic film comprising a multi-layered system of plastic films laminated together, each multi-layered system comprising a linking film, a printing film, and a finishing film; said linking film being bonded with the synthetic resin composition of the core; said printing film containing images, text, or other decorations printed in ink of any color or being coated with a layer of reflective material; and said finishing film comprising fiber embedded therein to protect the panel from scratches, cuts, and impacts thereto.
- 15. The decorated panel of claim 14, wherein said at least one plastic film is bonded to only one side of said core, and the other side of said core has bonded thereto a linking film, the side of the linking film remote from the core being coated with a layer of adhesive resin and a release liner, thereby enabling the panel to be bonded onto any compatible surface.
