This invention relates generally to the field of apparatus for hanging and displaying material goods. Moreover it pertains specifically to such apparatus for hanging and displaying material goods by means of a decorative concrete rod.
In view of the limitations now present in the prior art, the present invention provides a new and useful Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which is simpler in construction, more universally usable and more versatile in operation than known apparatus of this kind.
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a new Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which will allow the user to hang a variety of material goods including but not limited to, curtains, drapes, towels, and tapestries for decorative as well as practical purposes. It is also a purpose of the present invention to provide a new Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display that has many novel features not offered by the prior art apparatus that result in a new Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which is not apparent, obvious, or suggested, either directly or indirectly by any of the prior art apparatus.
The present invention generally comprises a main rod body, plastic end plugs, and a center structural reinforcement cable, whereby the main rod body is generally cylindrical in shape, having a substantially circular opening at each end, which represent the access openings for the cylindrical cavity or pathway that runs directionally parallel with the main rod body, and runs through the center of the main rod body. The end caps, which are inserted on the ends of the main rod body, allow a user to attach a variety of end pieces.
The main rod body, in the preferred embodiment, is composed of a high grade stone and concrete mixture, which can be textured, colored, shaped, and finished to suit a variety of customer preferences as well as specific application requirements. However, an alternate embodiment of the present invention may be composed of a concrete only material, or a stone mixture only material, or any combination of concrete and stone not referred to herein which performs the same function and would be considered as an apparent and obvious part of this disclosure. The present invention disclosed herein is intended to be used for such applications including but not limited to, the hanging of drapery, curtains, towels, tapestries, linens, fabrics, and any other material hanging and display applications which can utilize the present invention in the method and manner disclose herein should be considered as apparent and obvious to the disclosure.
The foregoing has outlined, in general, the physical aspects of the invention and is to serve as an aid to better understanding the more complete detailed description which is to follow. In reference to such, there is to be a clear understanding that the present invention is not limited to the method or detail of construction, fabrication, material, or application of use described and illustrated herein. Any other variation of fabrication, use, or application should be considered apparent as an alternative embodiment of the present invention.
Accordingly several advantages and objects of the present invention are:
A principal object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display that will overcome the deficiencies of the prior art devices.
An object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display that will offer the user more choices in texture, design, color, and finish than prior art device.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which offers a new use for concrete materials. Another object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display that can be custom treated with textures, designs, colors, and finish to suit a user's preference.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which has plastic plugs at the end openings, which allow for the insertion of end pieces.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which is composes of a high grade stone and concrete mixture.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display which can be hand polished to suit a user's preference.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display that is more universally functional in today's market than the prior art devices.
It is intended that any other advantages and objects of the present invention that become apparent or obvious from the detailed description or illustrations contained herein are within the scope of the present invention.

Referring now descriptively to the drawings, the attached figures illustrate a Decorative Concrete Rod Device for Material Hanging & Display according to the present invention The present invention generally comprises a main rod body 10, plastic end plugs 11, and a center structural reinforcement cable 12, whereby the main rod body 10 is generally cylindrical in shape, having a substantially circular opening at each end, which represent the access openings for the cylindrical cavity or pathway that runs directionally parallel with the main rod body 10, and runs through the center of the main rod body 10.
