1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a decorative wall mount, more particular to a decorative wall mount for holding sanitary devices conveniently.
2. Description of Related Art
With reference to
However, the body (61) of the conventional decorative wall mount (60) is made of metal and is heavy. When the body (61) is broken or becomes old-fashioned, it must be replaced.
To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide a decorative wall mount to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a decorative wall mount for holding sanitary devices conveniently.
The decorative wall mount in accordance with the present invention has a bracket, an ornamental body, a casing and a mounting knob. The bracket is mounted on a wall. The ornamental body is detachably clamped on the bracket and has an outer surface having a design. The casing is material and has a through hole formed therethrough. The mounting knob is connected to the ornamental body through the through hole of the casing and has a rod and a fastener. Therefore, the decorative wall mount can be produced cheaply and designs can be interchanged with different casings to provide a great variety of wall mounts with low production costs.
Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
With reference to
The bracket (40) has multiple screw holes (42), two ends and at least one clamping protrusion (41). The screw holes (42) are formed through the bracket (40) and fasteners are mounted therethrough to mount the bracket (40) on a wall. The at least one clamping protrusion (41) is formed on the ends and protrude obliquely from the bracket (40) and may be two clamping protrusions (41) oppositely formed on the ends of the bracket (40).
The ornamental body (20) may be an open container, is detachably clamped on the bracket (40), may be mounted over and around the bracket (40), and has a front panel, an outer surface (21), an inner surface (23), a top, a bottom, a knob hole (22), an alignment protrusion (24), a clamping notch (25), a threaded hole (26) and a set screw (27).
The outer surface (21) has a design formed thereon. The design may be directly printed, a paper based sticker, a paper insert or the like and may comprise at least one color, a floral pattern, at least one word, a graphic, a combination thereof or the like.
The knob hole (22) is formed through the front panel and is non-circular. The alignment protrusion (24) may be circular, is formed around the knob hole (22) and protrudes from the front panel of the ornamental body (20).
The clamping notch (25) is formed on the inner surface (23) at the top and engages a corresponding clamping protrusion (41) of the bracket (40).
The threaded hole (26) is formed through the inner surface (23) at the bottom of the ornamental body (20) and aligns with a corresponding clamping protrusion (41) of the bracket (40).
The set screw (27) is mounted in the threaded hole (26), is tightened against and abuts the corresponding clamping protrusion (41) of the bracket (40).
The casing (10) is transparent, may be an open container, may be plastic and is mounted over the ornamental body (20) and has an outer surface, an inner surface (11), a through hole (12) and a screw hole (13).
The outer surface may be decorated and may have two opposite sides being curved.
The inner surface (11) corresponds with and is mounted around the ornamental body (20).
The through hole (12) may be circular, is formed through the outer surface of the casing (10) and aligns with the knob hole (22) of the ornamental body (20) and may correspond with and be mounted around the aligning protrusion (24) of the ornamental body (20).
The screw hole (13) is formed through the outer surface of the casing (10) and aligns with the threaded hole (26) of the ornamental body (20) and may be mounted around the set screw (27).
The mounting knob (30) is mounted on the ornamental body (20) through the casing (10) and has a rod (31) and a fastener (32).
The rod (31) may be cylindrical, is mounted on the knob hole (22) of the ornamental body (20) and may be mounted through the through hole (12) of the casing (10) and has a distal end, a proximal end, a fastener hole (311), a mounting protrusion (312), an outer surface and a mounting hole (313).
The distal end of the rod (31) may have a lip (314) being wider than the rod (31) to aid hanging objects therefrom.
The fastener hole (311) is formed axially in the proximal end of the rod (31), may be threaded and aligns with the knob hole (22) of the ornamental body (20).
The mounting protrusion (312) is formed on and protrudes from the proximal end of the rod (31) around the fastener hole (311), corresponds to and is mounted in the knob hole (22) of the ornamental body (20) and may be non-circular.
The mounting hole (313) is formed through the outer surface of the mounting knob (30) near the distal end and may communicate with the fastener hole (311).
The fastener (32) is mounted through the knob hole (22) and the through hole (12) of the casing (10) and abuts the inner surface of the ornamental body (20) and is mounted in the fastener hole (311) of the rod (31) to clamp the casing (10) on the ornamental body (20) and may have a shaft (321) and a head (322). The shaft (321) is mounted securely in the fastener hole (311) of the body (31) and through the knob hole (22) of the ornamental body (20). The head (322) is formed on the shaft (321) and abuts the inner surface of the ornamental body (20).
