Claims
- 1. A dermabrasion treatment kit, comprising:a handle for applying dermabrading materials to a patient; a mixing apparatus for providing an air/reducing substances mixture to the handle, the mixing apparatus having an input port and an output port; a collecting apparatus for receiving the air/reducing substances mixture from the handle after the air/reducing substances mixture has been applied to the patient, the collecting apparatus having an input port and an output port; and a tray in which the respective input and output ports of the mixing apparatus and the collecting apparatus are fitted therein, wherein reducing substances in a sterile state within the mixing apparatus are provided to the handle and then to the collecting apparatus via an airtight passageway that includes portions of the tray, wherein the handle is coupled to a first port and a second port of the tray by way of flexible tubes, to thereby provide an airtight coupling of the mixing apparatus, the handle and the collecting apparatus, wherein the mixing apparatus and the collecting apparatus are positioned in a same orientation during dermabrasion treatment of the patient, wherein the mixing apparatus and the collecting apparatus are integrally coupled to each other to form an integral structure, and the integral structure allows for the air-tight coupling of the mixing apparatus and the collecting apparatus to the tray simultaneously.
- 2. A device for applying an air/reducing substances mixture to a patient, comprising:a source that holds air/reducing substances; a handle having an opening for providing the air/reducing substances directly to the patient; a flexible supply tube connected to the handle and to the source for providing the air/reducing substances mixture from the source to the handle; a flexible collection tube connected to the handle for receiving the air/reducing substances mixture from the handle, after the air/reducing substances mixture has been applied to a patient, and for outputting the air/reducing substances mixture to a collecting region; and a holding element configured to hold the flexible supply tube, the flexible collection tube, and the handle in place, wherein the holding element has a first groove extending along a top surface thereof, for detachably holding the flexible supply tube in place, and a second groove extending along a bottom surface thereof, for detachably holding the flexible collection tube in place, and wherein the handle is held in place at one end of the holding element by virtue of the handle being connected to the flexible supply tube and the flexible collection tube, and wherein the handle includes first and second arms that are respectively fitted onto portions of the first and second grooves at the one end of the holding element.
- 3. The device according to claim 2, wherein the holding element is plexiglass.
- 4. The device according to claim 2, wherein the holding element has a convex-shaped top surface and a convex-shaped bottom surface.
- 5. The device according to claim 2, wherein the flexible supply tube and the flexible collection tube each have a coupling section of a first diameter, for coupling to said handle, and a tube section for providing a connection to another element disposed away from said handle, said tube section having a second diameter smaller than said first diameter, andwherein said first groove includes a first region sized so that the tube section of said flexible supply tube can be snugly fitted therewithin, and a second region larger in diameter than said first region so that said coupling section of said flexible supply tube can be snugly fitted therewithin.
- 6. The device according to claim 5, wherein said second groove includes a third region sized so that the tube section of said flexible collection tube can be snugly fitted therewithin, and a fourth region larger in diameter than said third region so that said coupling section of said flexible collection tube can be snugly fitted therewithin.
