The desk-edge keeper keeps devices like laptop computers and keyboards at the edge of the desktop, in a fixed position and in place, so the user does not spend time repositioning every time they bump, shift or brace against the device.
The desk-edge keeper has a thin base that is designed to sit on the desktop surface, and under the device.
The desk-edge keeper has a special edge at the front the base, that extends over the desktop's edge, and an upward extension at the rear of the base to keep the device in a fixed position and at the edge of the desktop.

Ref 2: Device keeper. Restricts the device from moving back on the desk-edge keeper base. Extends up from the desk-edge keeper's base and behind the device.
