Claims
- 1. An in-line skate conversion apparatus for use with an in-line skate, the in-line skate having a plurality of wheels, a plurality of wheel support bolts on which the wheels are respectively mounted, and a support member on which the wheel support bolts are supported, the in-line skate conversion apparatus comprising:first and second pluralities of first fastening members adapted to be disposed on said in-line skate in spaced relation to said wheel support bolts; first and second walking members; and first and second pluralities of second fastening members respectively disposed on said first and second walking members, wherein said first fastening members and said second fastening members are respectively constructed and arranged such that said first fastening members releasably interlock with said second fastening members to removably secure said first and second walking members to said in-line skate: wherein said second plurality of first fastening members comprises a plurality of hooks.
- 2. The in-line skate conversion apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said second plurality of second fastening members comprises a plurality of loops.
- 3. An in-line skate conversion apparatus for use with an in-line skate, the in-line skate having a plurality of wheels, a plurality of wheel support bolts on which the wheels are respectively mounted, and a support member on which the wheel support bolts are supported, the in-line skate conversion apparatus comprising:at least a first hook and a first loop adapted to be disposed on said in-line skate in spaced relation to said wheel support bolts; at least one walking member; and at least a second hook and a second loop disposed on said at least one walking member, wherein said first hook and first loop and said second hook and second loop are respectively constructed and arranged such that said first hook and first loop releasably interlock with said second hook and second loop to removably secure said at least one walking member to said in-line skate.
- 4. The in-line skate conversion apparatus according to claim 3, further comprising:a plurality of first fastening adapted to be disposed on said in-line skate: a second walking member; a plurality of second fastening members adapted to operably engage said first fastening members to said in-line skate.
- 5. The in-line skate conversion apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said plurality of first fastening members comprises at least a third hook and a third loop.
- 6. The in-line skate conversion apparatus according to claim 5, wherein said plurality of second fastening members comprises at least a fourth hook and a fourth loop.
- 7. An in-line skate conversion apparatus for use with an in-line skate, the in-line skate having a plurality of wheels and a wheel support member, the in-line skate conversion apparatus comprising:a first plurality of loops defining respective openings extending therethrough adapted to be disposed on said in-line skate and arranged such that the openings face vertically when the in-line skate is positioned on a horizontal surface; at least one walking member; and a first plurality of hooks disposed on said at least one walking member, wherein said first plurality of loops operatively engage said first plurality of hooks to secure said at least one walking member to said in-line skate, at least one of the first plurality of hooks including first and second flat portions and a vertical portion therebetween and arranged such that the first and second flat portions will be located on opposite sides of at least one of the first plurality of loops with the vertical portion extending through the at least one of the first plurality of loops when the at least one of the first plurality of hooks operably engages the at least one of the first plurality of loops.
- 8. An in-line skate conversion apparatus for use with an in-line skate, the in-line skate having a plurality of wheels and a wheel support member, the in-line skate conversion apparatus comprising:a first plurality of hooks defining respective openings extending therethrough adapted to be disposed on said in-line skate and arranged such that the openings face vertically when the in-line skate is positioned on a horizontal surface; at least one walking member; and a first plurality of loops disposed on said at least one walking member, wherein said first plurality of hooks operatively engage said first plurality of loops to secure said at least one walking member to said in-line skate, at least one of the first plurality of hooks including first and second flat portions and a vertical portion therebetween and arranged such that the first and second flat portions will be located on opposite sides of at least one of the first plurality of loops with the vertical portion extending through the at least one of the first plurality of loops when the at least one of the first plurality of hooks operably engages the at least one of the first plurality of loops.
