Claims
- 1. A detersive compound of the formula ##STR14## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each straight chain, branched chain or cyclic alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl or alkaryl moieties having from 1-30 carbon atoms; R.sub.3 is a C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 alkylene; R.sub.4 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkylene; A is a sulfate moiety; and n is from 1 to about 100.
- 2. A compound according to claim 1 wherein R.sub.1 is a straight chain or branched chain C.sub.10 -C.sub.30 alkyl moiety or an alkaryl moiety having a C.sub.6 -C.sub.26 alkyl group and R.sub.2 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl moiety or is an alkaryl or aralkyl moiety having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety.
- 3. A compound according to claim 2 wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.12 -C.sub.22 alkyl moiety; R.sub.2 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl moiety, or a benzyl moiety; R.sub.3 is a C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkylene moiety and R.sub.4 is ethylene; and n is from 4 to 50.
- 4. A compound according to claim 1 wherein R.sub.1 is C.sub.18 alkyl, R.sub.2 is methyl, and n is from 4 to 20.
- 5. A compound according to claim 1 wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently selected from C.sub.6 -C.sub.22 alkyl moieties and alkaryl moieties having C.sub.6 -C.sub.18 alkyl groups.
- 6. A compound according to claim 5 wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each C.sub.8 -C.sub.18 alkyl moieties.
- 7. A compound according to claim 5 wherein R.sub.3 is a C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 alkylene moiety and R.sub.4 is ethylene and n is from 4 to 50.
