The present invention relates to a device for catching and stretching tablecloths.
It is well known to one skilled in the art, that a tablecloth has the tendency to bother a person. The tablecloth frequently moves, falls at least partially, folds, flying in the wind, pulled by a child sitting at the table, Et cetera.
Thereof, the present invention is concerned with solving simply and effectively a problem which is extremely bothersome to persons attempting to enjoy a picnic, whether it is in a park or backyard. If the air is at all breezy, picnic tablecloths are apt to blow away, or even if weighted by the placement of food or utensils thereon, are apt to flap about, sometimes are partially blown up and over the table top, and generally can become a nuisance which mars the enjoyment of the day.
The present invention provides a very simple, yet strong, holder device for resiliently securing a cloth to a picnic table merely by sliding the device into place. Prior attempts as illustrated by U.S. Pat. Nos. 1,049,803; 643,952; 3,727,272 and German Pat. No. 626,199 have not fully satisfied the need, particularly a device aesthetically pleasing, free of sharp edges and one which will accommodate a broad range of picnic table top thickness and in-home tables.
The device of the present invention is, in addition to possessing the above characteristics, very inexpensive to manufacture, and is capable of exerting strong, steady pressure which is distributed over a relatively wide area.
It is to be understood that both the foregoing general description and the following detailed description present embodiments of the invention and are intended to provide an overview or framework for understanding the nature and character of the invention as it is claimed. The accompanying drawings are included to provide a further understanding of the invention and are incorporated into and constitute a part of this specification. The drawings illustrate various embodiments of the invention and, together with the description, serve to explain the principles and operations of the invention but not to limit the invention to these descriptions only.
The present invention renews in a device that include at-list two sections. Wherein, first section of the device in one implementation is a solid material unit, and in other implementation is flexible material unit.
Wherein, the first section of the device—includes on one side of it, glue and a cover that protects the glue and prevents the glue from drying out, wherein, in another implementation of the present invention made from some magnetic materials.
Wherein such glue cover can be removed at the time of use.
Wherein, a user can remove the glue cover and attach the first section material unit to a particular part of some table.
Wherein—on the other side of the first section material unit there is an inspiration of magnetic attraction which is expressed by virtue of a magnetic material present in this unit first section—or some metallic material—or magnetic material—or both.
And when, at the time of use, the user covers the table with tablecloth—and attaches the second section solid material unit of the present device to the tablecloth.
When, such second section of the installation is a material unit that includes on at-list one side of it a metallic material—or magnetic material—or both, and when, the user attaches the second section unit of the device, on top of the first material unit of the device—with a certain part of the map material on the table.
In this way, as clarified, the user can connect several devices of this invention to the table—and verify the map formation and its perception in the ways and configurations it desires.
Showing, First Section of the device of the present invention, having two sides and Spine side 102, wherein, on side 104 of the first section fitted to be connected to some table surface; wherein, the other side 112 of the First Section, the external side, includes on at-list one side of it a metallic material—or magnetic material—or both; wherein, Wherein, the side 104 of first section device that designated to be connected to the table includes connecting means such as glue, or magnets that enables the connecting of such section to some tables such as wooden tables or metallic tables. Wherein, when there is a glue implementation it will preformed with a cover section 106 that can be put away 110 and 108 to prevent the drying out of the glue.
Wherein, the side 128 of first section 122 device that designated to be connected to the table includes connecting means such as glue and cover 126 that is to be removed in time of use, or magnets that enables the connecting of such section to some tables such as wooden tables or metallic tables. Wherein, the first 122 and the second 124 sections of the device are solid material in some implementation of the present invention, and are flexible material in other implementations—to enable the connection of the device and its bending to fit different table's shapes.
