- 2. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the body with the collecting chamber is connected with a pump for aspirating and/or dispensing fluids, acting on this collecting chamber.
- 3. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the packing of the capillaries directly adjoins the collecting chamber.
- 4. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the packing completely fills the capillary.
- 5. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the packing is matched to the chemical-physical nature of the organic, or inorganic particles to be extracted.
- 6. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the capillary has a diameter and/or a length, which is matched to a defined packing volume.
- 7. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the capillary is connected with the collecting chamber by being inserted into the body, or by it being extrusion-coated with the body.
- 8. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein at least one ring-shaped area of the capillary and/or an area of the interior surface of the body directly adjoining this capillary, are made hydrophobic.
- 9. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the body, or the collecting chamber has a V-shape, which adjoins the capillary in the area of its narrowest point.
- 10. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein at least a portion of the interior surface of the body, or of the collecting chamber comprises a relief structure which extends essentially coaxially in respect to the longitudinal axis of the body.
- 11. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the body is designed as a well of a microplate.
- 12. The device in accordance with claim 1, wherein the device additionally has a support element with at least one depression, into which the device can be sealingly placed without the capillary being touched.
- 13. The device in accordance with claim 12, wherein the support element is embodied as a support plate, which has respectively one depression per well of the microplate.
- 14. The device in accordance with claim 13, wherein the support plate is made of polypropylene, or polypropylene foam, or similar solid, or elastic plastic materials.
- 15. Use of a device for processing samples, the device comprising:
a body with a collecting chamber, a separating chamber adjoining the collecting chamber for the solid phase extraction and elution of organic, or inorganic particles separated from these samples, and an opening for releasing these particles, wherein the device comprises a capillary, which is connected with the collecting chamber, or with the body and has a packing for the solid phase extraction of organic, or inorganic particles separated from these samples and wherein the capillary is used as the separating chamber for the solid phase extraction and elution of organic, or inorganic particles separated from samples.
- 16. The use of the device in accordance with claim 15, wherein the body with the collecting chamber is connected to a pump for aspirating and/or dispensing fluids, acting on this collecting chamber.
- 17. Use of a device for processing samples in accordance with claim 15, wherein the samples are subjected to an incubation step.
- 18. A method for producing a device for processing samples, the device comprising:
a body with a collecting chamber, a separating chamber adjoining the collecting chamber for the solid phase extraction and elution of organic, or inorganic particles separated from these samples, and an opening for releasing these particles, the device further comprising a capillary, which is connected with the collecting chamber, or with the body and having a packing for the solid phase extraction of organic, or inorganic particles separated from these samples and being used as the separating chamber, the method being characterized by the following process steps:
Dividing an endless capillary filled with a packing of a defined diameter into capillaries of the desired length; Injection-molding a body with a collecting chamber and a receiving opening for a partial capillary element; Inserting the capillaries through the collecting chamber.
- 19. The method in accordance with claim 18, wherein the body with the collecting chamber is connected to a pump for aspirating and/or dispensing fluids, acting on this collecting chamber.
Securing an endless capillary of a defined diameter and filled with a packing in an injection mold cavity; Injection-molding a body with a collecting chamber around the secured endless capillary; Cutting off a first, outer remnant of the endless capillary for creating the desired length of the capillary; Cutting off a second inner remnant of the capillary.
- 21. The method in accordance with claim 20, wherein the body with the collecting chamber is connected to a pump for aspirating and/or dispensing fluids, acting on this collecting chamber.
- 22. The method in accordance with claims 18 or 20, wherein several capillaries are inserted parallel, or several endless capillaries are used, for producing a microplate equipped with capillaries.
