U.S. Pat. No. 6,712,204 relates to a carrier for retaining one or more objects. The carrier is cut and scored from a unitary blank of paperboard so that it can be folded into two overlying panels and then manually fastened so that one panel is bowed away from the other to form an interior space. The bowed panel has at least one U-shaped mouth opening into the interior space, cut through the bowed panel face and large enough to allow an object to be inserted through it and retained for storage or transport.
U.S. Pat. No. 5,901,844 relates to a display package having one or more media items retained therein. The display package is convertible between a collapsed position which is used for shipment and storage of the item, an open display position for displaying the media item on a flat surface, and a compact display position. The display package has a base having opposing halves each formed of a pair of spaced apart upper and lower panels which are connected together along their respective outer ends. The upper panels are connected together along their inner ends. Central portions of the inner ends of the upper panels are spaced apart from each other to define an elongated slot. An upright body forming portion comprises a first body panel formed with and connected along a common fold line to one of the lower panels and a second body panel formed with and connected along a common fold line to the other of the lower panels, the first body panel and the second body panel secured together defining a pocket adapted for reception of a media item and the body panels extending upwardly through the slot.

U.S. Pat. No. 5,251,746 relates to a container for a cassette housing, an image bearing medium having recorded images for a stack of photographic picture prints and an index print having rows of small size positive images that match the recorded images. The container comprises a book-like jacket including a pair of leaves separated by a spine joined to the leaves at fold lines to permit the leaves to be arranged opposing each other. At least one of the leaves is photographic paper to permit the index print to be formed directly on that leave. The spine is wide enough to permit the stack of picture prints to be stored between the leaves when the leaves oppose each other. An openable pocket web joined to the leaves across the spine is opened to receive the cassette when the leaves oppose each other. A storage sheath with a window for viewing the index print receives the jacket with its leaves opposing each other.
U.S. Pat. No. 5,048,681 relates to envelopes for storage means of compact disks. The storage means comprises an envelope/cushion configuration used to minimize or eliminate abrasion and chaffing. A special thin cushion that combines the quality of surface softness with underlying stiffness shares the envelope with the disk.
